⚠️ SCAM ALERT: Avoid Taphaus Sports Bar, Thane – Dishonest, Overpriced & Zero Hospitality! I recently booked a table at Taphaus Sports Bar (Thane) through the Zomato District app, which was offering a 15% discount. What followed was one of the most dishonest and frustrating dining experiences I’ve had. When we arrived, the place was practically empty – only 2 tables occupied, including ours. Despite that, the waiter couldn’t be bothered to take our order. Zero courtesy, no interest, just plain rude. We placed our order from the standard menu, but when the bill arrived and I went ahead to pay through the app (just like the offer promised), the waiter suddenly stepped in and bluntly said, “If you’re paying via the app, we’ll have to give you a completely different bill.” No explanation, no shame — just straight-up bait-and-switch in broad daylight. He then pulled out a crumpled, low-grade paper menu (even local bars have better presentation), with inflated prices – nearly double compared to the original menu we ordered from. Yes, they gave us a different, more expensive bill after we had eaten. A classic bait-and-switch scam. Have been to so many other restaurants using Zomato dine-in – not a single one has pulled this kind of cheap stunt with two separate menus. This was a first, and hopefully the last. Let me be clear: This place manipulates prices, disrespects customers, and uses discount platforms to bait people in, only to scam them later. Zomato – this is on you too. If Taphaus is still on your app, you're enabling fraud. And to anyone posting 5-star reviews for this place – you were either extremely lucky, completely lying, or you’re part of the restaurant staff trying to bury the truth. Avoid Taphaus Sports Bar. You’ll get better food, service, and integrity elsewhere – even at your local dhaba.

Honestly, when it came to paying from zomato/swiggy the manager said that they have applied for the removal from Swiggy & zomato 5 months back. I am seeing reviews from a year ago where people are complaining about the payments maid through swiggy & zomato. Its complete lie & forcing to pay for the service charge is also not legal. When told we need to pay from swiggy/zomato, there was a bill with no offers. I don’t know on what % they where charging service charges as well. When asked for clarification, the manager tore the bill & said leave this money is never going to come to me. Honestly the place is good for a vibe. But whatever this is happening is really pathetic. ZOMATO PLEASE REMOVE YOUR DISCOUNT LISTING FOR THIS PARTICULAR BAR & RESTAURANT

Firstly please look out for the 1star reviews we regret not looking for the same. Everything was good the ambiance the food but when it came to paying the bill we had already booked via Swiggy dineout and it has never been a problem at any restaurant. At this place they had a different menu and bill for you to pay if you are availing a Swiggy or Zomato discount which was very questionable and not even informed prior. Owner says that they have removed the listing since 5months but here are reviews complaining about billing system as long as a year Zomato you have to look into it. Owners behaviour is all jolly till you are to pay the bill then you know the real face don’t fall for this scam.

Please pay attention to the other 1 star reviews because they're the only accurate ones. I wish we'd read about them because yes, they do scam you on the bill. Not only do they have separate billing for zomato and in-house, they'll try and force you to pay the in-house amount which is higher than the zomato amount, and tell you that they have "taken the restaurant off zomato and swiffy", which is a lie. also will add other charges by saying "fine-print mein hai" avoid because you'll end up ruining your night.

booked a table for watching a PL match. the ambience was good, we decided to Sit outside. The food was awfully bad. I thought it's a one off, so I tried ordering some other dishes but all of them weren't good. The only thing okay was their Loaded chicken Nachos, in which the nachos tasted old. wouldn't go here again not recommend this to anyone for eating good food.

They do not allow you pay by district or other app where you are getting benefit and service is not good they served masala pad after 45 Min Once i also saw fight their and they are least bother about it not a place to go…
