Visited Taste of Punjab for their Tuesday buffet and honestly, it blew my expectations out of the water. The ambiance hits you the moment you enter — bright, colourful, and full-on Punjabi festive vibes. It genuinely feels like stepping into a mini Punjab in the middle of Vashi. Buffet Spread: The variety is insane. From live chaats to starters, tikkas, dosas, soups, salads, mains, breads, and mithai — everything is laid out beautifully and constantly replenished. The highlights for me were: • Paneer Tikka, Mushroom Tikka & Crispy Corn (perfectly spiced, fresh, and hot) • Chicken Tikka & Mutton Rogan Josh (so flavourful and tender) • Dal Makhani & Sarson da Saag (comfort food done right) • Gulab Jamun, Rabdi & Kulfi (ended the meal on the sweetest note) Taste: Most items tasted great — flavourful, fresh, and very close to authentic Punjabi food. The buffet honestly gives you value because you never run out of things to try. Service: Super quick, super warm. The staff keeps checking on you, clearing plates, offering help, and keeping the vibe smooth. Despite the rush, they were very attentive. Entertainment: And the best part — the live Bhangra performance! Such an unexpected addition but it made the entire evening feel festive and lively. The energy was crazy and it added so much charm to the whole experience. Ambience: Bright, colourful, family-friendly, and very lively. Perfect for celebrations, big groups, or even just a fun outing. Overall: Totally worth it. Amazing food, great variety, energetic atmosphere, and a wholesome experience. If you want unlimited food + a full-on Punjabi vibe with bhangra and dhol… this is the place. 5/5 — Highly recommend!

Visited on Saturday night with family. Place was packed, 10-15 mins wait but worth it. Food: Butter Chicken was creamy, not too sweet, chicken fell off the bone. Makke di roti and Sarso da saag with white butter was shows topper wala taste, Tandoori Roti came fluffy and charred just right. Paneer Tikka was soft and cheese balls were super cheese u and yumm . Lassi glass of malai - zero dilution. Service: Staff were polite, refilled water without asking, but food was served hot in buffet Ambience: Classic Punjabi dhaba decor, tractor on wall, peppy music. Bit noisy for dates, perfect for family.

Taste of Punjab in Vashi offers a wonderful buffet dinner experience with a memorable Punjabi theme. The food is truly delicious, featuring authentic North Indian flavors in staples like the rich Sarso\ de\ Saag\ with\ Makki\ di\ Roti, creamy Dal\ Makhani, and flaky Lachha\ Paratha. The non-veg starters, including chicken, fish, and prawns, were a particular highlight. It is an affordable option and easily one of the best Punjabi restaurants in Vashi for North Indian food lovers
