Backlane has always been a restaurant I could rely on, which makes this visit even more disappointing. The service was extremely poor—orders were significantly delayed, and there was no communication or updates from the staff. It felt disorganized and inattentive, which is not what I’ve come to expect from this place. To make matters worse, the live singer was underwhelming and didn’t add much to the atmosphere. The previous singer was noticeably better and had a much stronger presence, which made the overall experience more enjoyable in the past. Overall, this visit really let me down.

Butter garlic prawns were too average for the price. I ordered for my daughter but she barely ate. Too chewy and not properly cooked as well. Service was also a bit slow.

We ordered a surmai tava fry last evening it was.. stale also the oil in which they fry is sooo over used.. it leaves behind a terrible taste to the food… Same for chicken lollipop The mutton shorba was the only thing nice in the 6 things V ordered yesterday. Terrible experience

pathetic service.. no capability to handle crowds. waited 50 mins for a salad.. they had given only masala papad for first 50 mins .. pathetic service... making people drink with no food. aperfect recipe for disaster.. pathetic
