The food is absolutely ineffable, the service by the staff was warm, definitely try this place out. I had -raspberry matcha. 8/10 -lotus biscoff cheesecake. 9/10 -smoked ham and cheese sandwich. 9/10

​A Solid Breakfast, But Still Searching for the "Wow" Factor ​After a rather underwhelming visit to The Backyard Brew a few years ago, I decided to return recently to meet a friend for breakfast. I wanted to give them another fair shot, especially given their reputation in the local coffee scene. Overall, while the experience was certainly an improvement over my last visit, I left with somewhat mixed feelings. The hospitality was a high point. The staff members were attentive and patient, allowing me plenty of time to look over the menu without feeling rushed. It’s the kind of welcoming environment that makes for a pleasant morning catch-up. I opted for the Eggs Benedict paired with a simple cappuccino. ​The Eggs: They were poached to perfection—the highlights of the meal. ​ While the hollandaise was tasty, it was just a notch short of being "amazing." It lacked that final punch of flavor to make it truly memorable. ​The coffee was my biggest point of contention. While the cappuccino was perfectly fine, I expected something spectacular from a place known for its brewing expertise. It was a standard cup, but it didn't stand out. In hindsight, I probably should have experimented with one of their more specialized blends. ​ The Backyard Brew is a reliable spot if you are already in the neighborhood. It is certainly "can-visit" material for a casual meal, but I wouldn't suggest traveling a long distance specifically for it. There isn't quite enough "magic" yet to justify a pilgrimage across town, but I might find myself back there eventually to see if they can finally bridge the gap from "good" to "great."

This is one of my favorite go-to cafe in Versova. The outdoor ambience is so cozy. Not many places offer that in Mumbai. But my food experience in last 2 visits within a week was more than lacking. Some spicy paneer skewers with peanut sauce was EXTREMELY sweet. Like I don’t want spicy food but please don’t add sweet to everything The thai salad used to be so refreshing but that was also terribly sweet. Have you changed your chef or recipes?? Please get back the old taste :(
