while my visit to phoenix high street, foodhall, I happened to find pain au chocolat and was curious enough to try it. I am so glad I did, it was soft, fresh and had the perfect amount of chocolate. great experience for a good price.

The Bakers's Dozen!! Simply wow place located in Prabhadevi. I usually go here for quick coffee & chocolate croissant, since I love ambience of this place and aroma of those fresh bread makes me happy. Heard a lot about their good breads, so yesterday for the first time I brought few. Got ciabatta & brioche loaf. My god!!! Both breads were super delicious. Ciabatta had perfect texture & taste. Brioche loaf was heaven, with right amount of sweetness & soft as silk. Bang on team TBD!! Those breads were too good.

This place is one of the best places to get your bread from. The sheer variety it offers is way beyond any other store even comes close to. Not to mention that they have gourmet bread at extremely affordable prices. This place would have definitely been a 4.5 had it not disappointed me with its cinnamon rolls. They were hard and just not up to the mark. The best things to have here are sour dough pao, four grain bread, pain complet multigrain and croutons. Definitely should go here! In fact this should be your fix for bread related things at least in Prabhadevi area. You can place an order on phone and collect it later at night when you are returning from work and that is the best way to go about it.

Mixed bag review. Upscale bakery and dessert joint. Located right across the road from office, this has become a go-to bakery for European/ Mediterranean style breads and desserts. They have a variety of items on their menu, including pastries, sauces, dips, brownies, muffins and an assortment of breads. You get peanut butter spreads, a variety of dips and jams packed in cute little jars- although these are a bit small. The price tags are on the higher side though- I bought a double chocolate chip muffin for Rs. 120 and a flourless chocolate brownie for 220 odd bucks. I liked both- the double chocolate chip muffin is just divine!!!! Its soft, rich in chocolate and melts in your mouth!.You can taste the richness of the chocolate and the quality comes through. But the second time I tried their flourless chocolate brownie, and it was among the worst brownies I've tasted. It was soft but had a weird sour taste- maybe they added rum. Never buying that again. Another issue: their stock gets over quickly and we went at 7pm- there was barely anything left.

Clearly the rich man’s baker! Opens at 8 am about 3 hours after I have woken up. But I am told the rich sleep late. I love their breads but I am too hungry by the time it’s 7.30 am so I guess I have given up on Baker’s Dozen.

I’m quite a stickler for quality and service. Unfortunately this particular restaurant always fails to disappoint me. It has one of the worst customer service one can ask for. I have tried their whole wheat bread, Multigrain bread, blueberry cranberry sourdough bread, walnut raisin sourdough bread, four grain sourdough and cheese chilli sourdough bread amoungst other things like Masala pav, whole wheat pav, wheat pizza base and cinnamon rolls. 1. Whole wheat bread - this particular bread tastes like a regular whole wheat bread just that it has thicker slices. 2. Multigrain bread - surprisingly this spread has decent amount of grains stuck on the outside. Like the whole wheat bread, this particular bread is also cut into thick slices. Though I did not find this anything exceptional as compare to its competitors 3. The blueberry cranberry sourdough bread is supposedly one of their flagship products which they claim is handcrafted. The Sweet flavours of blueberry and cranberry give it a different flavour when toasted. The amount of blueberries are decent. They also claim that this bread is 100% whole wheat without preservatives. I would recommend trying to bread. 4. The walnut raisin sourdough bread has a good mix of flavours between walnuts and raisins though the flavour of the walnuts overpower the meagre raisins in this bread. This tastes best when toasted. This is again claimed to be 100% whole wheat. I would recommend giving this a try. 5. The masala pav and whole wheat pav were quite average. The masala pav were below expectations. 6. Wheat pizza bread - this wasn’t much of a pizza base. It was more like a thinner slice of bread. The box contains 4 square shaped bread slices mimicking the look of a pizza base. 7. Cinnamon rolls - the box contains 2 tiny circular shaped cinnamon tart- like roll. This doesn’t look like a roll at all. The cinnamon rolls were quite dry and much below my expectations from a baker like bakers dozen and chef Aditi. Final verdict - their products are nothing out of the ordinary. Given how pathetic their services are, and if you order something from them directly you have to call them around 5 times and wait for a few days for it to be delivered, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this bakery.

They send fungus infest food. I order banana sponge cake and god know how many days old it was. It smelled so bad like the smell of spoilt food. I had ordered it for my kids and by luck they didnt ate it. Im attaching the picture of this spoilt food.

We pay a premium to have this transported to us from Prabhadevi to peddar rd and the garlic bread is so stale. Very disappointed in the quality. Never again
