I didn't expect to find one of Mumbai's most enjoyable dining experiences tucked inside a hotel — but The Front Yard Kitchen & Bar at The Fern Residency, Chembur completely changed that assumption. We started with a Watermelon Feta Salad and three mocktails — Spiced Kokum Mary, Monsoon Marvel, and Blue Lagoon Mojito. All three were well-crafted and distinct. The Spiced Kokum Mary especially felt like something you wouldn't find on a regular menu. The food spread that followed was impressive. Pistachio Broccoli Soup, Mushroom Deajo, Chun Juan, BBQ Chicken Wings, Chipotle Chicken Burger, Phaldari Kofta, Grilled Pollo with Demi Glaze Sauce, and Bhuna Gosht with Pav — every dish had its own character and was executed well. The Bhuna Gosht with Pav was a personal highlight — rustic, bold, and deeply satisfying. We ended with a Blueberry Cheesecake that was the perfect closer. Now about that offer — The Front Yard runs an All Day Buy 2 Get 1 deal on selected Liquor, Cocktails, and Mocktails. That alone makes this a great spot for a long, relaxed evening without worrying about the bill. The ambience is what truly sets this place apart. There's a warm, well-designed indoor section and a breezy open-air space — so it works beautifully for a romantic dinner or a casual group outing. The vibe is relaxed, the service is attentive, and the whole experience feels premium without being stiff. The Front Yard Kitchen & Bar deserves far more attention than it gets. A definite must-visit in Chembur.

The buffet was nice. Special shoutout to Nimish and Makarand for the extra attention and service. It is IPL time so they have a special offers on the drinks too
