The Latin Mess situated near the popular lanes of Pali Hill. This space is a nice small cozy space for you to go unwind. The menu is super authentic and they've got some really nice options available. Let's get to what we had and probably what you should too! Yuca Fries - Jackfruit fries never thought I'll fall in love with these, the dips are amazing especially the chilly one. Carnitas - It's like a bun with slow cooked pork hand pulled, I truly enjoyed the way it was cooked - just perfect and juicy. Frijoles Negros - I digged into the Avo and the relish inside but didn't quite enjoy the black beans stuffing, but that's just me and black beans. It you like black beans, you'll certainly enjoy this. Arabes - Super tender mutton stuffing that is fried, truly delicious don't miss this one! Dessert Brageidiros - One of the best truffles I've had, especially enjoyed the crunchiness of the cocoa nibs coating. Must order. Tres Leches - This has to be my most favourite dish on the menu. It remained of the Christmas sweet bath, just much softer and milkier. Drinks Horchata - A classic drink with rice milk, thougly enjoyed how each individual flavours come through in this drink. Overall it was a wonderful experience, had an amazing time. Highly recommended!

Food - 8/10 Service - 10/10 Ambiance - 9/10 VFM - 10/10 What stands out - The unique cuisine Came here with a friend on a weekday after work to try some Latin American dishes. The place is small but very well made. Cute little joint. They have limited items on the menu but everything we tried was pretty amazing. Its one of the few only Latin American restaurants in town. The service is pretty amazing too. The staff is courteous and helped us decide on what to call for. The Empanadas are excellent. Cebolla Y Queso was the best of the lot. Their Yuca fries are pretty good too. They serve it with 3 different dips and they taste yum. The burgers were a bit of a disappointment. The bread is a unique colombian bread but didnt fit all that well with the filling inside. We called for the following dishes. 1. Yuca fries - 10/10 2. Tostada chips - 9/10 3. Cebolla Y Queso empanada - 10/10 4. Chino Latino empanada - 9/10 5. Frijoles Negros (Burger) - 7/10 6. Camote Y Mani (Burger) - 7/10 7. Hibiscus Ice tea - 10/10 All in all this a cute little joint definitely worth trying.

This is such a heart felt creation from Ujwala that it shows in the menu. We needed this kind of wholesome, delightful, fun Latin food place! I have tried everything on the menu and we keep finding ourselves going back. Show up for the food and the love with which the team runs the place.

Latin Mess is a Latin America diner located at Bandra, Mumbai. The cute cosy diner serves staple delicacies from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colambia. It's short and sweet menu is a mix of beverages, salads, arepas, empanadas and desserts. So here is what I had - SALADS :- YUCA EN ESCABECHE - Pickled yuca salad made with bell peppers, onions, oregano, parsley and roasted peanuts, dressed in a honey olive oil dressing. ESQUITES - Roasted corn salad made with jalapeno, black beans, baby corn, rocket leaves, avocado and cherry tomatoes, garnished with feta cheese and dressed in a lime olive oil vinaigrette dressing. Both the salads were good, they act as a nice wholesome meal, I really loved the addition of feta cheese and avocados to the corn salad as it gave a nice richness to it. EMPANADAS :- CHINO LATINO - Fried pastry puffs stuffed with mushrooms, jalapenos and tomato sauce. POLLO - Fried pastry puff stuffed with minced chicken, chilli paste and garlic. The puff pastry crust was crispy and flaky. I liked the chino latino empanadas even more as the spicy tomato sauce was outstanding ! AREPAS - POLLO MINADO - Cornmeal bun burgers layered with minced chicken patty, pickled onions, tinga sauce and crema. The corn buns were unique and gluten free. The chicken in the minced chicken patty was almost like a fine paste, I feel it lacked the juiciness, the tinga hot sauce on the other end was a stellar ! SIDES :- TOSTADA CHIPS - In house made corn tortilla chips, served with guacamole dip. The guacamole dip was made with chopped avocados, onion, jalapenos and cucumber, it tasted absolutely delicious with tortillas ! DESSERTS :- TRES LECHES - Classic Latin American dessert made with sponge cake drenched in milk, condensed milk and cream. Truly blissful, soft and creamy to the core !! One can visit Latin mess just for this dessert ! Overall, I had a pleasant experience. Latin Mess is a sincere effort and needs a applause. Most of the ingredients used in the making are imported from their origin to maintain authenticity. If one has a liking for Latin American food, Latin Mess will make you feel at home !

The by-lanes of Bandra are now home to a vibrant Latin American restaurant called ‘The Latin Mess’. When it comes to South American cuisine, we often only picture Mexican cuisine in our heads. This new restaurant shows that South American cuisine and culture is a lot more than just Mexican. Bringing authentic and bold flavours from multiple Latin American countries - Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Brazil – this restaurant serves popular street food from the region. Talking about the ambience, the place is perfect for those who prefer tiny, cozy spaces. A micro-restaurant, the South American joint is a small 12-seater space surrounded with bright yellow and orange hues and bursting kaleidoscopic shades. Best part? It has an open kitchen as well! What we were served: Yuca Fries, Camote Y Mani Arepas, Hibiscus Iced Tea, Tamarindo and Tres Leches Yuca Fries - Change up your typical potato side with these Crispy Baked Yuca Fries! Like French fries? Then you will love this Latino version of an American favorite! Treat yuca just like you treat potatoes. Light and crisp, fresh Yuca fries with an Aromatic Roast Garlic Dipping Sauce. Savory, sweet and so delicious. Camote Y Mani Arepas – Roasted sweet potato, coleslaw, mixed sauce, seasame and scallion oil in a maize dough (arepa) is the next level Latin American burger and our personal favourite here! Hibiscus Iced Tea - A stunning and refreshing drink for iced tea, for a fragrant, floral drink to cool off with on those hot Bombay days. Tamarindo – Tamarind, palm jaggery and star anise form this refreshing anti-oxidant drink that’s so soothing to cure your mid-week hangover Tres Leches - A fresh and delicious dessert with a classic butter yellow cake, soaked with a sweet milk syrup, with whipped cream and light-as-air and soaked with a mixture of three different milks! We wish they had empanadas and brigadeiros ready to be served but it wasn’t available that day. In a nutshell, every food item on their menu has a fiery quality that sits perfectly well with the Indian taste bud.

Latin Mess Hidden in the streets of Bandra is this tiny gem serving authentic Latin Food. The place is so cozy, we’d recommend to hop in on any rainy day and unwind. The menu is small and simple and if you haven’t tried Latin food before the staff will help you out with what you should order. We tried Yuca Fries- Price- Yuca fries are made of jackfruit and served with 8 dips! At first when we bit in we thought they’re a little weird but from the second bite onwards we started enjoying. Chino Latino- Price- Chino Latino is an empanada that is like a fried savoury pastry. This one was stuffed with mushrooms, jalapeños and Tomato sauce. Crispy on the outside and very very tangy on the inside. Mango Avocado Salad- By far this was our favourite thing! It’s not only the regular menu but you ask for it while the mango season lasts. Delicious sweet mango paired with fatty avocado bits with lettuce and chips was just the party in our mouth. Tostada Chips- Price- In house chips served with fresh guacamole. The chips were so hot and fresh season with the right kind of flavour and we absolutely fell in love with them. The guac however was loaded with too many onion pieces. We’d definitely order this again. Hibiscus Iced Tea- Price- Refreshing iced tea without being loaded with sugar? Dream come true. This place serves delicious iced tea replacing sugar with palm jaggery and adding a hint of cinnamon. Yum! Tres Leches- Price- Trust us on this when we say we haven’t tried anything like this before. Eating this felt like biting into a cloud. A milk cake with pineapple flavour and lemon cream. The foam on top of it tasted delicious in itself. Light and airy texture when you bite into it and suddenly the pineapple flavour will hit your mouth and you’re going to love it. The place serves good food at reasonable prices. The staff is warm and welcoming. So give yourself a break from your everyday meals and grab a snack.

The Latin Mess, a simple sober and a cute place which is basically dedicated to serving some great and authentic Latin American cuisine. The place is not that huge, it's quite compact with around 4 tables but its quite beautiful and is located in the lanes of Pali Village. When you take a look at the menu, it's very limited but the options available are quite fascinating. The best way to start the meal was with a portion of "Yuca Fries" which was served with 3 in-house dips. Deep fried to perfection, there was nothing that I could complain about. Even the Tostada Chips was a great one and was served with small guacamole dip. Try it out if you love trying out a different type of fries. Their empanadas are a must-have. It's basically a type of baked pastry with filling in it. Being a non-veg lover, I so loved the "Pollo' and "Arabes" which had chicken and mutton filling respectively. Priced at 99 bucks it was fairly a steal deal considering the taste. Now the interesting part is where the server told us that the flour used to make the bread is imported all the way from Columbia, quite fancy for me. Arepas were kind of the main course, in which we ordered for "Polo Minado". Basically a corn burger with a filling of spice marinated minced chicken. The presence of tinga poblano, pickled onions, and Mexican cream made it so delicious. Also, it was served with a portion of fries along. It's a decent place for that matter and even the pricing is quite average. Hoping to see some more options to be included in their menu.

Bombay was in need of a good and authentic Latin place and the Latin mess opens up. This place is located in the heart of Bandra, the lane just before Janata bar. Didn’t get a chance to try everything but whatever I tried was great. 1) The salads are heavenly here. Both the salads are so good and filling, unlike anything you’ve ever eaten before. 2) Yuka fries with dips is a great alternative to normal fries but so good that you’ll want more. 3) The Latin version of Indian samosas - Empinadas. I tried the chino Latino and the pollo and both of em were so good that we ordered one more portion. 4) Both the desserts were good but the chocolate balls (Brigadeiros stoke my heart). The place may have limited menu but they make everything with heart. There is only one server but he serves everything with a smile and open to feedback is what makes your experience enjoyable.

Latin Mess is a little establishment nestled in a lane near Janata, Bandra. It is surely not incredibly exhaustive when it comes to covering options from that geographical region but nonetheless, a decent snacky snack place. To start off, we had their special Fermented Pineapple drink, the name of which, I do not recall. It was tarty yet refreshing. A bit too sharp for my palette, but enjoyable nonetheless. We called for some Tostones, which are essential Banana chips who went to do MS and came back. The dips however were ace – I personally loved the Chimichurri, and the Salsa Macha the most! MUST HAVE the Empanadas, essentially a baked puff with choice of your favorite fillings. I suggest you to go for the POLLO, and the Mendocinas. Arepa, a Colombian burger, is what we chose to go for next. Corn bun instead of a regular one, filled with whatever meat/veggies you prefer. We took the Carnitas, pork + mustard + greens + green onion aioli, plantains. This looked ace but was not really upto the mark. It was too creamy overall, with no sharp spicy flavour to cut the creaminess out. The mustard did work, bit overall, a miss! The Yuca Fries were delightful. Yuca is a tubular root vegetable which resembles a sweet potato. To end it, we had the Brigadeiros, which are Truffles, made with Valrhona Chocolate ( A French classic), condensed milk, and cocoa nibs. Quite a rich ball of goodness, this! Enjoyed this a lot! If you dig chocolate, you would gobble these up like tic-tacs. Just a figure of speech, do not toss it in your mouth directly. Overall, I would suggest stick to the empanadas! And the Yuca Fries + Dips.

The worst piece of food I have eaten in a really long time. Very fancy names which comes up with exactly the opposite quality of food. Didn't even finish the burger I had ordered. The fries and the dips there were uncooked and not closely related to "Columbian". I would rather spend 10 times more on roadside food than pay a penny for this.
