Had a really nice unlimited thali experience at Munchbox Thali in Malad. The spread had good variety and the flavours felt very authentic Gujarati Rajasthani style. Loved how fresh and warm everything was served. For the price, it’s a solid place to visit with family if you enjoy thali meals.

The food was good and the staff were polite and attentive, which made the dining experience pleasant on that front. However, the management needs improvement. While we were still eating, other waiting customers were allowed inside and stood uncomfortably close to our table, clearly pressuring us to finish जल्दी. It felt rushed and quite awkward. What was even more disappointing was that before we had even gotten up, another group themselves occupied our space, almost as if we were expected to leave immediately. This kind of management disrupts the dining experience. Better coordination and handling waiting customers to stand out till their turn comes would feel less crowded near tables. No one should feel hurried while eating.

We visited this place on 22nd March at 3:15 PM. food can surely be improved, but the main is the service people there. Serve you as if you have not paid for the Food. They lack any kind of warmness, like other places who thali. It was closing time.. if they could not serve well, they shouldn’t have let us in. extremely worst service..It looked like they were serving food for free

We went with a family of 11 in the month of April-2026. The food will not satisfy your taste buds with not so good quality. This needs to be avoided. Not worth the money.

Very disappointing experience. We were initially told that a table would be given to us, but despite waiting, the same table was offered to other customers instead. The management was extremely unorganized and handled the situation very poorly. The young boy managing the place was rude, arrogant, and lacked basic customer service etiquette. Instead of resolving the issue politely, his attitude made the experience even worse. Overall, the hospitality and management were pathetic. Definitely not the kind of experience one expects while dining out.
