A super cozy place to hang out with friends after college! Came here with my friends after a super long day, order a bunch of stuff and at the end my friends were shocked to know how pocket friendly this place is! The food is amazing and highly recommended if you are anywhere near Chembur. The setting is also in a quiet place, no horns blowing around!

It was the 2nd time i had ordered the tandoori paneer cheeze burst pizza, and it was very much the same as the 1st time I had ordered it. The pizzas are nice and soft, the cheeze burst is nice and flowing. It was better than a dominoes which offers something similar. So switch over from dominoes to Pizzaiolo because take my word for it, its better

Today I picked up Chicken Tacos from Pizzaiolo. One of the best tacos I've had. The chicken pieces were really juicy and all the sauces in the tacos made it more delicious. The tacos might not be in their menu but you can always order it. And trust me, you wont regret.

This place is a hidden gem! I absolutely love this sweet little cafe located at one corner of Cubic mall, Chembur. If I am not wrong, I have visited this lovely place 5 times, and that just shows how much I enjoy their kitchen's preparations. Sadly though, I have seen various aspects of this place decline over the period of months, and thus they didn't get a 5 star rating from me. Starting with the ambiance, it's a small place with 5-6 tables, brightly lit, 2 big images of streets of someplace in Italy adorn the walls on either side. Its minimalistic theme and a color code of white and blue is pleasing to the eye. A wooden compartment-cum-platform separates the dining area from the kitchen, so if you are curious you can actually walk over and have a look at your order being prepared. One side of the aisle has a sofa (that's where I always sit, because of course it's more comfortable) while the other has 2 tables and chairs. I remember they used to play some music before, but in my recent couple of visits you end up eating your meal to the gossiping of the staff, who apparently don't have anything else to do because there are (sadly) no customers apart from me. They are trying to attract customers by giving combos and offers, and retain existing ones by giving vouchers, but it doesn't seem to be working :( Coming to my favorite dish here, the item that got me hooked to Pizzaiolo, their TACOS!! Once I could confidently say that this restaurant had the best tacos I have ever had, hands down, but that's not the case now. anyway, let's talk about the Tacos first. It's a very simple preparation. Laccha paratha as Tortilla, having crispy layers, a portion of your chosen protein - Paneer for vegetarians and Chicken as it's counterpart, a nice drizzle of spicy Harissa sauce and creamy Mayonnaise and finally some oregano on top. Simple, yet just perfect! It has hardly 4-5 ingredients, but what comes out is a masterpiece. The sheekh chicken is juicy, so is the tandoori paneer (yes I have tried both). I feel the showstopper is the combo of Harissa and Mayo, it offers you a lip-smacking spicy tang which I always crave. On my latest visit, I was disappointed to see them switching to Aloo Tikki stuffing instead of the cottage cheese based. The sauces remained the same, so that was a relief, but still if you are expecting paneer and get potatoes, however tasty they might be, it's still not as good right? But it's alright, I still would highly recommend anyone who decides to walk in here to try out the tacos and be absolutely amazed by it! But don't you worry if Mexican is not your thing. They also have nice burgers,  well topped pizzas and fulfilling pastas too! I have tried 3-4 of their burgers, which include the CLASSIC ALOO TIKKI, EGG & CHEESE and PANEER TIKKI. These preparations stick to the style of the kitchen, not making it too complicated, simple and minimal ingredients and the result turning out to be a satisfying delicacy. Each of the above mentioned burgers stayed true to their name. The Aloo tikki had an aloo tikki (meh!) some lettuce, a slice of cheese and some mayo. I don't remember if there was a hidden onion and/or tomato slice in there, and even though the buns were not grilled/buttered and were bigger than the condiments, I did not have a single dry bite. I wouldn't call the burgers juicy for sure, but nor were they so dry that you'll need a beverage to get it down your throat. The egg and cheese had a double egg masala omelette nicely folded up between the buns, cheese mayo and onion rings. The spices in the omelette and the raw onion added some spiciness to it. The PANEER TIKKI was a part of their combo, served with a portion of fries and choice of beverage. The fries were not as crunchy as I'd like them to be, nor were they salted but anyway it was a side appetiser and the main dish was the burger. The crispy paneer patty was big in size (by that I mean, it was sticking out of the buns, unlike the aloo tikki one), with soft cottage cheese inners huddled in the crunchy fried batter. To give it an Indian touch, it had tandoori mayo instead of the normal one, and some chopped lettuce too. So technically this is just a 3 ingredient burger, but it was well made and I enjoyed it. In the pizzas department, my first choice was TANDOORI CHICKEN. Chicken chunks marinated in Indian spices, along with the classic 3 veggies: onions, green bell peppers and tomatoes.Keep things simple and enjoy! Served on the skillet pan in which it's baked, the toppings and cheese are more than satisfactory. After you are done talking insta-worthy images, it's time to reklish on each bite of your pizza! Again I'd recommend it. I also had another pizza whose name I can't seem to recollect, which had chicken, onions and jalapenos, so an italian dish with a mexican twist. This one was a bit on the spicier side of my palette, so I had to skip on the jalapenos but the chicken was welcome. You might have heard of, or even most likely tried Mac'n'Cheese, but they serve another fusioned up version of Tandoori Macaroni pasta. It was an inviting change to the same old alfredo or arrabiata penne pasta, or the classic one I mentioned above, so I was pretty excited about this. Well it was a bit dis-appointing to see the pasta served in a tin-foil container, like they pack it up for delivery. Maybe they don't have dedicated serving plates for pasta, because burgers and tacos can be served in a normal flat based plate, and pizzas are served in the pan they are made in. Well the small tin foil container proved to be useful in keeping the pasta hot for long. Judging from the size of it, it did look quite small, but the portion size was adequate for a meal. I liked the tandoori twist added to the pasta, and it contained enough veggies and cheese too. I have also tried a few of their beverages, like GREEN APPLE MOJITO and GREEN APPLE ICE TEA. They used the ready-made syrups for these, but it's okay. Not everything has to be made from scratch in the kitchen, at least not in a small cafe like this one. Apart from the simplicity of decor and food, yet it being really appetising looking and tasting delectable too, another aspect I love about PIZZAIOLO is the value for money. I am sure the rent of the place is not cheap, but still I feel a customer is getting great value for money here. I am sure you can have a stodgy meal under 300 bucks for sure. Everything is priced very economically and that's one of the reasons I visit them so frequently, because it's pocket friendly! Just to repeat myself, I would have undoubtedly given them a 5 star if I had visited them just once. But over my 4-5 visits here I have seen things not be as amazing as they once were. But still, I would continue visiting them every now and then and hope they improve (at present I actually am hoping that they don't end up closing due to lack of business ;( I seriously pray this doesn;t happen!) Thank you PIZZAIOLO for those wonderful meals, and I am looking forward to enjoying your tacos and many other dishes over time! Happy Burping!!!

Pizzazolo is a small cosy cafe on the ground floor of Cubic Mall, Chembur. I had Chicken Zinger Burger Meal here. Taste was not that great, but the staff was friendly and their service was prompt.

I had the bad luck of giving this place a try and I paid a very big price for it. The order was for pink pasta and veg pizza. Pink pasta was delivered in a very small foil box and was cold and flavourless. I had to add ketchup and other sauces to eat it. The pizza was firstly delivered in a Bites and grill box, Another eatery in Chembur which is cheaper. After struggling hard with the pasta just to fill my empty stomach, I hoped the pizza would be the savior. But it was the most raw, uncooked and flavourless pizza I have ever had. I had headache after having a slice, Had to literally throw it in the bin as it's something you would not wish your enemies to eat. I do not know what is happening with this place but this place needs to make huge changes or else they are gonna land in trouble. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
