I recently dined at The Post Office Bistro & Bar in Vasai West and the experience was truly memorable. I tried their Veg Croquettes, Veg Spring Rolls, and Veg Burnt Garlic Rice, and each dish left a lasting impression. The Veg Croquettes were the perfect appetizer – beautifully crisp on the outside and filled with a smooth, creamy, and well-spiced center. Light yet flavorful, they set the tone for the meal wonderfully. The Veg Spring Rolls had a golden crunch that revealed a fresh, perfectly seasoned veggie filling inside. Paired with the zesty dip, they offered a great balance of texture and taste. The star of the evening was definitely the Veg Burnt Garlic Rice. From the moment it was served, the aroma of roasted garlic was irresistible. The rice was cooked to perfection, neither greasy nor bland, and the addition of fresh vegetables with the subtle crunch of fried garlic made it wholesome, hearty, and comforting. Every spoonful carried just the right smoky note. The ambience was cozy yet vibrant, with attentive staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. Overall, a must-visit for those who love good food served with warm vibes. 🌿🍚✨ #ThePostOfficeBistro #VasaiEats #VegDelights #FoodieFinds #BurntGarlicLove

About The Place - Easily accessible with parking right outside the restaurant, this place is located on the first floor and has a cute, thoughtfully detailed post-office–themed décor. The menu offers a good variety of Indian and Chinese dishes, and they also serve alcohol. Service is quick, and the staff is friendly and attentive. About The Food - I tried the Chicken Crispy, which came in a good portion—mildly spicy, nicely crispy, and made with tender chicken that was deep-fried and well blended with spices. It was served with fries. The Burnt Chilli Chicken Fried Rice had generous shredded chicken pieces along with chopped veggies and tasted good. The Blueberry Cheesecake was decent, with a regular taste—nothing too fancy.

Service was very slow… everything was very late, drinks order came after 20 mins…. And we asked for some ice which took surprisingly 10 mins… Food was delicious and ambiance was good too but they need to work on the service speed… we were literally waiting for 20 mins for someone to come to our table to take main course order, finally we had to get up and call the waiter…

Ordered chicken soup, chicken tikka afghani and tanduri in the starter which was awesome. But the butter chicken in the main course was too sweet.

Food was okayish. The waiter was impatient and asked us to order fast as he had to attend to other tables too despite us telling him to take our order later on. Also he insisted on serving us food when we didn’t want to be served saying the food would get soggy. We felt rushed.

*Very Disappointing Visit* Went to The Post Office and honestly had a pretty bad experience. The food wasn’t hot and didn’t taste great. Service was super slow — we had to call the staff several times just to get basic things done. After the meal, they gave us a finger bowl with cold water. We ordered a sizzling brownie and had to remind them 5–6 times before it finally came. Meanwhile, the table was still dirty — they didn’t even bother to clean it after clearing the plates. And the worst part? *There was a cockroach on the table.* We told them, but no one really reacted or cared. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Definitely not worth it.
