Extremely disappointing experience, both in terms of food and service. Our food arrived, and we had already finished two dosas without even being served sambar. To make matters worse, even water was not served despite asking the staff three times. My food was practically finished by the time we were still waiting for basic service! I ordered a podi dosa, but there was barely any podi in it. When I asked the waiter for some extra podi, he told me it was chargeable. I have absolutely no problem paying extra for something I ask for, but the way he spoke was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to point out that there was hardly any podi in the dosa to begin with. I have eaten podi dosa enough times to know what to expect from one. The service was appalling, the food was disappointing, and the staff's attitude made the experience even worse. Basic things like serving water and sambar should not require repeated reminders, especially at a place that charges customers for dining. For a place that is so hyped, the experience was nowhere close to expectations. There are plenty of better places serving authentic South Indian food with much better quality, service, and hospitality. Overrated, poorly managed, and definitely not recommended.
