It was truly a wonderful experience. Shweta went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. As I am currently expecting, she thoughtfully arranged a special kachi kari for me and ensured that I was served everything appropriate and nourishing. We were also celebrating my husband’s birthday, and Shweta along with Vivek made the occasion even more special by arranging a complimentary sugar-free cake. Their warmth, attention to detail, and care made the entire experience exceptional and truly unforgettable.

Sahib Room serves the best North Indian Awadhi cuisine in Mumbai. Himanshu is one of the sweetest guys and took great care of us. And oh boy, the food was absolutely the best..I doubt even places in Delhi make such food. Nothing can beat this. The staff, the chef, and the service were all a perfect 100.

Indian cuisine at its best, relish the signature style dishes which are cooked with utmost precision. Had ordered Murg Gilafi seekh, Bhatti da murg & Gosht Dum biriyani. the Gilafi seekh was so sumptuous that had to order twice to satisfy the taste buds. Ananya & Vivek were too helpful.

Loved the food. Prepared with load of passion and love for Indian cuisine. The cocktails are definitely to be tried. The take on Kokam drink is very refreshing. The whiskey sour is elevated with the rich dash of Kashmiri saffron...

1.Even when we had reserved the table 2 days prior we still had to wait for our table for 15 mins(we had senior citizen and a child with us) 2. Terrible slow service, we had to tell them 2-3 times to get the things. Even a glass of warm water took them 15 min to bring. 3. Food was OK but the portion size was way to little. Did not expect such kind of service from restaurant in St.Regis

I visited this 5-star hotel last night for a special family dinner with a group of 27 people. Our table was booked a week in advance, and I had even shared a fixed menu with the hotel a day prior so they could be well prepared. Unfortunately, the entire experience was far below 5-star standards. To begin with, many basic food items were out of stock. When I tried to reorder a simple starter made of baby potatoes — something that is available in almost every restaurant — I was told they had run out. Later, when we ordered naans and rotis, unbelievably, those were also out of stock. For a hotel of this level, this is unacceptable, especially when handling a pre-booked group of 27 guests. The taste of the food was another big disappointment. The black dal was extremely blend, and I was told they only make Jain dal, which definitely did not justify the poor taste. I’ve eaten far better dal in regular restaurants. On top of this, the service was shockingly careless. One of the staff members dropped chutney on a guest’s outfit. At a 5-star place, where guests are dressed in expensive clothes, such negligence is simply not expected. The overall attitude of the staff felt carefree and unsupportive, especially whenever we ordered anything extra — all we heard was “out of stock.” This dinner was meant to be special as we were celebrating my father-in-law’s 75th birthday. We had requested a pineapple cake, something most 5-star hotels offer complimentary for such occasions, but we were charged for it. Despite the hotel’s multiple mistakes, our bill came to ₹90,000 and they didn’t offer even a 1% discount to acknowledge the inconvenience. To add to the frustration, the chef claimed the black dal was their “best-selling dish” and even said he would “teach me how to make it.” This kind of attitude is unprofessional and unacceptable. Overall, the experience was highly disappointing — from the food quality and stock issues to the staff behaviour and lack of accountability. A 5-star hotel cannot function with such poor management and attitude. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, good service, or a memorable dining experience.
