We visited Sahib Room & Kipling Bar at The St. Regis Mumbai as a family of four and had a lovely North Indian dining experience. The tandoori platter was a highlight, especially the creamy grilled broccoli, which was so good I ordered a separate portion! The vegetarian galouti kebabs, grilled potatoes and paneer tikka were equally enjoyable. The mutton barra, with succulent lamb braised in spices and char-grilled, was outstanding. For drinks, I tried a beautifully balanced gin-based cocktail with actual betel leaf, along with the rose lassi and Bombay masala mocktail. The main course of paneer makhani, black dal and saag was delicious, with the missi roti and fresh tandoori roti standing out. We finished with phirni and kulfi falooda, followed by paan and mouth fresheners. The colonial, tent-inspired interiors have a lovely old-world charm, and the Jungle Book-inspired service, where staff have character names, is a fun touch. Our waiter was Baloo! Impeccable service, great food !

The best place to have some amazing North Indian food!! The staff was very humble and courteous and the service was too good.. They accommodated all our dietary requests and also arranged a complimentary cake for my mum’s birthday.. Thank you for making our celebration a little more extra special by your warmth, kindness and offering the best vegetarian food!!

The food was absolutely delicious. The ambience was even better with the live music. It was our second time here and I brought my parents and brother here as it was my birthday. Shweta our server assisted my mother regarding food as she was apprehensive about the garlic in her food. She also made my birthday special by kindly offering a cake

Himanshu served us with a smile and suggested us the best dishes n drinks! We had a great time..lovely ambience. Very good unique set up of flowers for the birthday cake celebration by the team.

the ambiance, food and service was great. overall an evening well spent. Found a suspicious dead bug in my shorba..which the staff tried their best to deny..called the chef..faked about calling the food safety inspector etc. With St. Regis, expected a better resolution of the issue rather then just denying it.

We had come to the restaurant for lunch on Sunday and we had a horrible experience here. Even on being a very regular customer, our order took 1 hour to come. (Only the mains, the starter never came on the table, even after an hour of waiting) On top of that, the main course had a hair in it which was disgusting. The chef and staff is illiterate here. No one had the courtesy to even apologise. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here!

Food is decent but the manager was really rude and not at all accomodative even when She is managing a 7* hotel's restaurant. The reason people come here is for the experience and if that basic experience of communicatiom itself is missing, either we are at a wrong place or maybe the manager is. Good job by rest of the team to accomodate and chef for helping out.
