The best part about this restaurant is its open 24x7 We had an exam next day and wanted a place to study for the entire night and this was the only place open nearby. The ambience and seats are very comfortable, staff is courteous. We ordered coffee and biryani, both were great.

The food served at the verandah was pretty good.. I ordered a club sandwich with complimentary (french fries) and mango chamomile ice tea.. Very Good preparation

Verandah cafe has become my midnight craving go to destination when I am in that little mood for indulgence and everything else is shut. I rush to them at 4am and dig into their buffet for 1000₹ (2 people can share) : 3 tiny desserts and coffee / tea . Pretty good a deal. Their chocolate flanelle is wow . Their tiramisu has a hint of baileys and is again wow . And then you have the sugar free pannacotta . And to make everything better. You have the sweetest staff serving you. So hello happy late night cravings !!

I have been coming to this place since childhood. Good seafacing ambience and good food. Just wanted to let people know who are not aware, for a la carte order The restaurant cum cafe has a cover charge for the food if you are not staying at the hotel. This restaurant has a rule- minimum order of Rs 1000 Per Person. They also have a rich buffet spread that you can checkout.

Superb buffet with good mix of deserts, appetizers, sandwich and salads. An yes the soup. Sandwich with fries are good one to try out here.

I presume everybody is aware about this place. One of the iconic Hotel of the city or you can say Proud of the city. Trident have lots of restaurants, cafe, bakery and pub within their premises. Verandah is one of them. It's a small cafe located on the main entrance of the Hotel with a magnificent view of the marine drive. Price as u expect are high as sky. I visited here with my wife and friends for a cup of coffee. I am not impressed by their beverages and snacks, quality is very disappointing. However, view will cover up for you. They have other restaurants which are worth trying. Visit this place only for iconic view not for food or beverages. Food: 3/5 Services :3/5 Ambience :4.5/5 Staff : 3/5

we are the cafe the Vietnamese coffee was really watery and not strong, even after I sent it back. the s'mores cheesecake was absolutely inedible. it was rock hard and felt like eating cardboard. the Korean bun however was delicious.

It was around 3:30 a.m., and I decided to have a cup of cappuccino. The only available option at that hour was the Veranda Restaurant in the hotel. Upon arrival, I was informed of a cover charge of one thousand rupees per person, plus taxes. Despite having called ahead to inquire about coffee availability, I was not informed about this charge. Nevertheless, I accepted and took a table. However, upon reviewing the menu, it stated that items would only be available from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. At this late hour, I was informed that I could only order tea or coffee. I politely requested a waiver of the cover charge since the full menu was unavailable, suggesting that I would order two coffees per person to meet the cover charge requirement. Despite my efforts, the staff insisted on adhering to hotel policy and declined my request. Throughout the interaction, the senior staff member, Durgesh, was not only rude but also failed to accommodate the situation adequately. It seemed unreasonable to be charged the full cover fee when the hotel couldn't provide the full menu. Poor service ,as soon as we entered Vipul came and stood on our head to order ,without allowing us time to see the menu. A.c does not work. This is a very old property . We complained about the AC,and manager said we can’t help it..such is the 5 star service
