Had lunch at The Village Shop today with my husband and overall it was a good experience. The food was fresh, wholesome, and it’s definitely a great place for people with allergies, dietary restrictions, or specific food preferences. There was one mix-up where potato was added instead of sweet potato mash in one of the dishes, but the team replaced it with exotic vegetables without any issue, which we appreciated. The only area that could really improve is the service and ingredient awareness among the staff. Our waiter didn’t seem very well informed about the ingredients and communication could have been better, especially for a place that caters to special diets and allergies. He was also taking the order from behind the counter instead of coming to the table, which felt a little impersonal. That said, it’s still a lovely place with great potential, and this feedback is only to help make the experience even better with more informed and attentive staff.

The place is nice and cozy, it is next to candies so you can spot it easily, though it is in interiors but it is has nice ambience especially for couple. Less noisy, good food and nice service and clean washroom. U can sit and relax and work too. The staff is welcoming, the menu is bit small but food is tasty. Will definitely recommend you to visit and try. They keep flowers for decoration whoch is cute.

A small, cozy spot in Bandra-Khar. Staff was polite. They claim to be completely organic, which is great!! The menu looked curated and nice. Feedback for the owner: Tried the Kingfish – the portion size should be improved. The sauteed veggies were a bit basic, mostly bell peppers.... for that price, I was looking for more variety like mushrooms & broccoli atleast. The sauce could have been better.

The food is amazing, the cafe is quaint and feels homey. But the staff is very rude , the server didn't even take our order he was busy watching reels on his Phone. Then they charged us 700 service charges?? for 3 people. Absolutely ruined the experience .

After my skateboarding class I was onto my next cafe of the month. Bandra lanes being the hub of cafes. I came across this place and decided to enter. Place had just opened, one staff doing his daily checks busy to even look at me or welcome. I asked for menu he didn’t respond to. Picked the menu myself, went through coffee options and decided to order a South Indian filter coffee (since Bandra cafes do not have the filter coffee). Tick tick one, tick tick 2, the staff didn’t move. Busy with his phone. I was doing my photography thing, evaluating the place,etc. 5 mins later or something I asked, " time lagega kya?, a slow confusing nod in return. In my head, “ kehna kya chahte ho”. He moved started making coffee and served in some real time. I got busy with my content ideas, etc. Also the coffee was “okay”. I then asked for billing, he handed me approx 230-240₹ including service charge, I then asked to remove the SC, it came to approx 210-220₹. I was like it is still high, I picked the menu card it said 175₹+5%Gst (this was manually written cancelling the printed amt.) Showed it to him, got surprised, then picked another menu it had written 180₹, picked one more and same. Then he thought of charging me as per 180+Gst. On asking for the receipt he said he couldn’t give me a print as he had to cancel the previous invoice and that the system has a different pricing his boss will come and make the entry happen. A simple and quiet coffee experience was turned into something else. Hence the rating.

I ordered their Ramen and a Spagetti dish via Swiggy. And I haven’t seen anytime before such small portions being delivered ever at such price levels. Either, the restaurant is shamelessly making use of delivery customers not being in the restaurant able to complain, or their staff is untrained and they just don’t care. Either ways, very very disappointing. Not recommended - at least for online delivery!!
