Torii by Gauri Khan is a stunning space with a warm, upscale vibe and lots of attention to detail in the decor. The staff are courteous, quick and happy to explain the menu. The food is the real highlight here, from fresh sushi and flavourful small plates to perfectly grilled mains and nicely done desserts. Portions and presentation feel thoughtful, making it a great spot for a special dinner or a relaxed evening out with friends.

Visited Torii and was absolutely floored by their Torii Special Sundae. It’s rare to see a "basic" dessert theme executed with such creative presentation and unique flair. The layers and textures are so well thought out. Stunning decor and top-notch service. If you have a sweet tooth, this sundae is worth the visit alone. Can't wait to go back for more!

The staff were so very well versed, knowledgeable and helpful..it was wonderful to help us glide thru the menu , understood our preferences. Shubham n Hemali hosted us on behalf of Tori, very courteously with a super show of hospitality

Considering the name behind the restaurant, expected the food flavours to be over the top. However, found the food flavours just about fine; nothing exceptional! The portions were small considering the high pricing, though I did expect higher prices, being a celebrity restaurant. The ambience & food plating / presentation was good and service was also prompt & helpful. Though, would have preferred to get a bit heads up that the signature dishes take 25 mins to be prepared & served. Though I liked all that we ate and the fish was extremely fresh, there was no "wow" dish. Nothing made me feel I MUST come back.

food was sub par. everything we ordered was tangy and very sweet and we ordered crispy duck, avicado tempura, tuna nigri, charred shrimp, chicken yakitori, mapo tofu, burnt garlic fried rice, chicken pad kapraw, udon noodles chicken pkus 3 mocktails. mapo tofu was the worst. AC was very strong and couple of guests asked it to be turned off. service was very good. serving and plating was great. food taste is the dampner

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype I had a lunch reservation at 2:00 PM at Torii in Bandra, but despite having a confirmed booking, we were made to wait until 3:00 PM for our table. During the wait, we were asked to sit at an uncomfortable tall table, which made the experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn’t stop there. The food quality was far below expectations. The dishes tasted average at best comparable to street-side food, which is unacceptable given the restaurant’s pricing and reputation. The service was slow and inattentive throughout the meal, and the staff did not seem concerned about the delay or the poor experience. To make matters worse, the dessert was equally disappointing. It lacked freshness and flavor, ending the meal on a very unpleasant note. Another major issue was the strong stench of fish outside the restaurant while entering and exiting. The smell from the nearby Khar Danda fish market was overwhelming and certainly not what you expect when visiting a premium dining place. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Mumbai. I would not recommend this restaurant and certainly will not be visiting again.
