Apologies for late post 🙏 . It is said that the best food to try during Ramzan is at Mohammad Ali Road and I too had visited out of curiosity. I wonder why people go to Mohammad Ali Road when we just have a mini Mohammad Ali Road in Vasai 🤷🏻♀️On the day of Ramadan happened to visit near Masjid and found some yummy foodstuff besides it. . A famous Take Away- “True Taste” was overcrowded as the people were enjoying their delicacies and it was hard to order. Almost everything was over but luckily managed to order Seekh Kabab. Ramadan food is incomplete without Seekh Kebabs. The Kebabs were soft and juicy and was served with green chutney. . . In the 📸: - Chicken Seekh Kebab . . #latepost #foodsoframadan #vasairamadanfever #indianfood #vasaifoodie #eatgoodfeelgood #enjoylife #livetoeat #justtatit

True Taste is one of the oldest Mughlai food spots in Vasai, started around 21 years ago since 2005, and it has long been our go-to place for Mughlai cravings. Over the years it has remained a reliable favourite whenever we’re craving hearty, flavourful non-veg food in Vasai. Despite its simple and unassuming setup, the kitchen consistently delivers food packed with bold spices and comforting flavours. What we personally keep going back for are their Chicken Bhuna with Paratha, which has almost become our default order here. The bhuna gravy is rich, deeply spiced and incredibly satisfying, while the parathas are soft and perfect for scooping up every bit of that delicious curry. Their various chicken and mutton curries are equally comforting and full of character, making them ideal for a proper indulgent Mughlai meal. Another absolute favourite is their Chicken Baida Roti, which is always a treat — crisp on the outside, packed with flavourful filling and extremely satisfying. For quick bites, the Chicken Shawarma is also very popular and makes for a great grab-and-go option. The menu has plenty of other delicious dishes worth exploring. Their Chicken White Tandoori, Chicken Red Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kebab and Mutton Seekh Kebab are great starters if you enjoy smoky tandoori flavours. Rice lovers can go for the Chicken Biryani or Chicken Fried Rice, while local favourites like Mutton Keema Pav and Chicken Bhuna Pav bring in that comforting street-style touch. And of course, a meal here often ends on a sweet note with their pudding/custard, which is simple, nostalgic and one of our personal favourites. A special mention has to go to Ramzan time, when the place truly comes alive with a variety of special starters and seasonal dishes that are absolutely worth trying. It’s one of the best times to visit if you want to explore more of what their kitchen has to offer. What makes True Taste special is the consistency of flavour, generous portions and the comforting familiarity of their food. It’s the kind of neighbourhood place you return to again and again because you know the meal will always hit the spot. A wonderful spot in Vasai for flavourful Mughlai dishes, shawarmas and comforting curries.

Justifies the name enough !! Located in Dindayal Nagar, I have had chicken shawarma and egg shawarma from them a few times. Works like a take away counter, food taste is very good specially the chicken shawarma. During the peak hours, crowd is more. You can try various items here like shawarma, frankie and all other items you get in a full fledged restaurant. Delivery is free.

My friends suggested this place as it's quite famous for their Shawarma and the in-house mayonnaise. It's right beside the famous J.J. Jalebi. I had their regular Chicken Shawarma roti. I must say it was pretty good the mayonnaise was really nice and roti was soft and easily chewable. A must visit place for all the Shawarma lovers in and around Vasai.

yes your shawarma's are good but that doesn't mean you charge 98/- on the app for it .. 30 extra then your normal price 70/- .. why is it so? also I'm checking your menu and everything is overpriced .. not everything you serve is a 5 star dish .. please don't get too ahead of yourself and keep it reasonable .. sad to see this, once popular they raise prices and fool customers ..
