Good service. Authentic Indian Chinese food, very helpful staff, tasty food. Everything arrived very fast. We reached at 2:05 pm, closing time was 2.45 pm and we were done by 2:50, well satiated.

Chicken sesame fingers were really good. Chicken clear soup was nice as well.

i had no problems in waiting over 10 mins for a seat as it was a Sunday and I visited in the night. but the problem I had was with slow service and bland food.

I had ordered a takeaway that included chicken lollipop, chilly chicken gravy and chicken fried rice... all Classic Dishes (signature) since 1987 the review doesn't deserve a single star. the food was tasteless, stale and salty so that we really don't know what we ate. chicken lollipop had bits of bone included in the meaty part and included pink colour so called 'food' colour that turned all the chicken lollipop bones 'pink / purple' chicken chilly gravy was having diced chicken but the gravy tasted anything but 'chilly chicken' lastly the chicken fried rice was way to salty, dry and stale that you could hardly eat a spoonful A sincere request to all customers who plan to order or dine at Uncle's Kitchen for nostalgia....you are in for a rude and sad experience. my genuine request ... a roadside Chinese food stall will have better, fresh and tasty food as compared to this overly rated restaurant...which once upon a time was crowd puller

​I finally visited this heavily hyped, "legendary" spot in Orlem a couple of days ago, and it was a massive disappointment. I ordered the Singapore Rice, and it was honestly bad—completely devoid of actual flavor or the right balance of spices. ​To make it worse, their Schezwan sauce is just bright red food coloring disguised as a sauce. It had no kick, no garlic-chilli punch, just artificial color. I don't understand how this place is still so highly rated or talked about. Maybe it used to be good back in the day, but right now, it’s just overpriced, overhyped, and a total letdown. Skip the hype; any decent roadside stall serves better Desi Chinese than this.

Please don't waste your money on ordering from here. We ordered paneer crispy and chilly hakka noodles both of them were total disappointment. The noodles lacked taste and had only spice to it. The paneer didn't have any gravy it was just fried pieces of paneer served to us on requesting we got the paneer sauted in a weird sweet tasting sauce which had no veggies. The total bill was around 800 and it had absolutely no taste and no quantity as well.

Hopeless food and hopeless people… I ordered veg fried rice and veg noodles, the noodles were terribly spicy that one could not eat. I was a regular customer on uncles kitchen. I called the restaurant twice, first time they heard and kept the phone on the side and the second time, one guy very rudely said complain on Zomato. They were least bothered about customers complain. I will never order again for uncles kitchen

We went there but it was very shady looking plus the service is pathetic, the staff is not attentive and they don’t serve you when we asked them to serve the head came and said we do not serve you need to serve yourself. It will be our 1st and last visit to this place.

Pathetic service… the waiters keep staring since they need to collect the plates and bowls immediately which becomes very uncomfortable. Being a regular eater I complained about the taste but the manager owner didnt accept
