We have been regular at utsav. Always good food good service. Today was one of those bad days where u feel money wasted entirely. Utsav is expensive but food always good. However if was always Indian food or pav bhaji dosa. Today we tried something else … burnt garlic rice … completely brown in colour like a gravy rice … honey chilly potato … felt like full of sugar ….samosa chaat so bad we ate one spoon and returned it … ate nothing ended up paying 2000

"I visited yesterday, and the food quality was really not worth the prices they charged. There was nothing innovative, and the ambiance wasn’t as good as I expected. The taste of the food was very disappointing. I ordered kebabs, tacos, and Hyderabadi biryani, all of which lacked flavor. Honestly, I preferred the masala papad over these dishes... such a waste of money

Except for good ambience this hotel has nothing. Actually the attitude of the staff they are on cloud 9 , they just don’t care since crowd is coming. But it doesn’t take long to get from best to Zero. The Food quality, service & for the price you pay it is super waste. The food is just overly spicy and tasteless. There are Much much better Udipi hotels that serve better food quality & hospitality service. To give you my experience I had ordered one Roti priced 70 and one lacchedar paratha priced 170, as soon as my order came the roti was ok of whole wheat, but the paratha I could make out was of maida and super cold (pic attached), when I asked the waiter why is this lacchedar paratha of maida, he said “aise hi hota hai, return nahi ho payega , aur apne pehle bolna chahiye tha whole wheat ka chahiye” I then asked his manager, he also said “lacchedar paratha maide ka hi hota hai, cannot be returned” Thats great you are looting customers & on top you are also justifying.. I just want to wish all the best to Utsav, your customers will soon give you a taste of your own medicine, you will see this soon ..

Extremely Disappointed – Rude Staff & Inhumane Policy I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Utsav Hotel, Thane. My pregnant wife was denied the basic courtesy of eating home-cooked food, despite repeated requests and explaining her condition. The staff was shockingly rude, showing zero empathy, even for small kids who just needed a simple chapati. It’s understandable that restaurants have policies, but when it comes to special cases like pregnant women or young children, basic human decency should prevail. Their rigid rules and appalling attitude made our experience distressing. If you care about respectful service and basic hospitality, I strongly advise avoiding this place!

Today at Utsav restaurant, my family member have asked for papad churi which was not in the menu but still they were ready to serve. When the waiter got the papad churi which was not Churi and just given a broken pieces of papad, when we asked the waiter and captain to give a churi, he said we serve in this way only. When we shown them how papad churi looks, he was not ready to take the dish return as according to them we have spoiled I would like to highlight the attitude of waiter was worst and was not happy with lunch experience

The food is good, but the staff is very undertrained and definitely illmannered We asked for papad Churi but we’re served with masala papad instead. We had confirmed what the dish was but still we’re not served proper dish. On asking we were denied of anything and did not agree to change and were retaliated in a very bad tone and words The manager also is the same. Don’t suggest this place for peaceful meal.

When a restaurant charges premium prices, customers naturally expect good service and quality food. Unfortunately, both have been consistently missing here. 1. The staff is not at all customer-friendly. 2. A spoiled item was served, and despite raising a complaint, no satisfactory response was provided Very disappointing experience. Definitely not expected at this level.

At call for table booking for 8 i was said first come first serve then at arrival they say when all members arrive only then we will assign table and made us wait outside the hotel for 15 mins
