I love Quarter system joint. Reminds me of the old days when we would be short on cash all the time but still wanted to drink. Didn’t have a car so that choice wasn’t there, and parents at home so no chance there also. These places would be the hot favourite with cheap daru and food alike. Vikas is located in Matunga West just below the bridge. Busy place for sure with a Ac section where the 8 of us oldies chose to sit. Amazing service which is the main point of such places. We had lots of things from Prawns koliwada, tandoori chicken. Pomfret Tandoori, Chicken in black bean sauce etc etc. Stuffed ourselves with the starters and in the end had dal khichdi for dinner which was super yum too. The staff was friendly, cost reasonable and ambience average. All in all a great experience after a very long time. A good visit if short on cash!!

I'm writing this review cause I ordered the butter chicken and paratha from here a few days ago and it was really nice. Good portion and packing.

A poky bar just opposite to the Matunga station in a small lane. If you are low on budget and still want a booze this is the place you should visit. A pocket friendly place with humble staff. The food doesn’t actually matter while getting a booze but the food here is amazing. North Indian and Mughlai cuisines are the speciality of this Bar.

A very few bars have the quarter system still alive and this is one of them. A very pocket friendly place to have your food with drinks. Also if you are low on money and still want alcohol. This is the place you should visit.

Worst Kind of Food experience get in Vikas Baar. They add Dalchini, Ilaychi in Chicken triple rice. It's like Fusion of Biryani rice & Triple rice. That also Worst in taste. Don't go for Food there. Only Drinks is OK.
