I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago. I had a good experience as the ambience was good with a decent seating area. I ordered a few things in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian and had mixed feelings with the dishes. In Veg starters, we order Paneer Ajwaini tikka on the recommendation of the staff, stating it is the best seller, but the taste was very poor. The marination was very weak and tasteless. It felt like we were eating just paneer with a Schezwan sauce. In non-vegetarian starters, we order a chicken platter. The chicken platter consisted of chicken tandoori, chapli kebab, seekh kebab, chicken tikka, chicken afgani, and chicken lebanese. All the starters were good in taste, but chapli kebab, seekh kebab, and chicken afgani were very delicious and tasty. Specially, the chapli kebab was fantastic. Then we ordered chicken afgani. The chicken was served half-cooked, so we returned and repeated the order, and this time the chicken was cooked properly, and the taste was also very good. In the main course, we ordered paneer tawa khurchan again on the recommendation of the staff, and again, it was very average and tasteless. Even the portion offered was pretty less as there was no gravy, and it felt like we ordered paneer starter with thick gravy. In non-veg, we ordered murgh tikka masala along with butter naan and roti. Murgh tikka masala was very tasty. Also, the roti and naan were soft and easy to eat. The service was pretty good, and they were welcoming and polite.  Ratings Ambience/Seating: 4/5 Staff: 2/5 (as veggie recommendation tasted bad) Service: 4/5 Non-vegetarian foods: 4/5 Veg food: 2/5 Recommendation: Do try chapli kebab, as it was the best kebab that I have had. Avoid ordering from the staff recommendation, as their recommended items did not taste good at all. It seems to be a good place for non-vegetarians.

Went to Zaitoon by 1.45pm on Sunday. It was empty. Later on by 2.30pm the restaurant was full. We ordered Chicken Aflatoon, Rann masala, keema parotta & biriyani rice. All dishes were awsm apart from Biriyani rice. Somehow Biriyani rice was giving bad odour. So reduced one star for that. Paid by Zomato, and saved Rs 630..Awsm Zomato dining experience.

This was my 2nd experience at Zaitoon, I would say it was a bit of a let down after a very good first experience. The ambiance is good but there was constant noise distrubance due to some refurbishment work. The lebanese chicken kebab for starter and the murg mussallam for mains with naan/ roti was actually good but the biryani and dessert was dissappointing. The seekh kabab was decent. The mutton biryani was so bad, more of a instant pulav with a very weird taste and strong mutton smell. The kunafa for dessert was a duplicate version with no richness or creamyness if the cheese. Service was decent. Portion size is good. Overall the experience was let down by the biryani and kunafa. Ambiance - 3/5 Service - 3.5/5 Food Quality/ Presentation - 2.5/5 Taste - 3/5 Portion size - 3.5/5 Value for money - 3/5

Food is good over here. What needs to be improved is hygiene and cleanliness. Washroom was not clean and also we found a cockroach roaming on the table while we were having food. So please take care on this part.

It's a nice restaurant in navi mumbai.just issue is the quantity of their food as per they price .Mutton starter was very good but raan briyani was bad.

very bad taste of butter chicken it is very sweet and excess cinnamon taste..when asked to chk and improve the service guys said chef is saying it's perfect..they have ruined the basic butter chicken recipe...

Had a very horrible experience dining here. The waiter Amar was extremely unprofessional. 1.Forced recommendation + false claim: He insisted my husband order the Gosht Nalli Barrah. Within 2 minutes we tried to cancel it, and he claimed it was “already ready,” which is impossible. Clearly a lie just to push the order. 2.Misleading information about the dish: When the dish arrived (₹700), we asked why there was barely any nalli. He replied, “bakrey mey nahi rehta,” which made no sense. When I asked another staff member, he politely said, “Yes, there is nalli but you have to remove it.” Why would I pay ₹700 for nothing? 3.Payment misinformation: We paid through Zomato, after which amar came and said “Zomato payments are not allowed.” If that’s true, why is there an offer on Zomato? Another clear lie. 4.Very poor packing standards: They packed our naan without foil, just directly into the brown paper bag Who does that? It shows lack of basic hygiene and training. Attaching picture. Overall, extremely Horrible experience. The staff needs serious training in professionalism, I guess the owners need to be educated for that too since they delegate the staff .honesty, and basic food service standards lack here. Never visit this place. There are far better restaurants in Navi Mumbai.
