Visited Cafe De Tavern, Mall Road, Mussoorie and tried their Kempty Chicken, Cheesecake, and Pastries. Kempty Chicken was flavorful and nicely cooked. The cheesecake was smooth, creamy, and easily the best item on the table. Pastries were fresh and paired well with coffee. Cozy ambience, good service, and overall a satisfying experience. Worth a visit!

The service is average. The food is exorbitantly priced for the quality that they serve. The burger was stuffed like a roadside eatery. An approx ₹700 burger in which the chef couldn't even slice the onion properly. In addition 5-6 staffers standing behind the counter, paying no attention to the crowd on a Saturday evening, leaving just one waiter to tend to all tables. Left us disappointed.

Absolutely terrible experience at Cafe De Tavern. The staff was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the moment I walked in. Instead of making customers feel welcome, they acted irritated and disrespectful, as if serving guests was a burden. Basic courtesy seemed nonexistent, and any simple question was met with attitude. A place with such poor customer service does not deserve repeat business. There are plenty of cafés that actually value their customers — this is definitely not one of them.
