One of the best bakery I have ever been to. I had the softest, flakiest croissant and the most melt-in-your-mouth cake. Highly recommend trying their rose and almond cake and the cheese and garlic croissant-both are must haves. Totally worth every bite! Pro tip: If you want to avoid the long queue, try to get there early- ideally between 8–9 AM. Highly recommend!

revisited this iconic place after 2019 in 2025. the shops location has changed, but not the taste of the cakes. my favorites are the Orange Marmalade and the Rose Almond Tea Cakes. 😍 experience! a must when in Mussoorie.

of course there is a long waiting line most of the time. I somehow managed to order a loon roll( which was supposed to be spicy and cheesy but didn't even found a single trace of cheese and was not even spicy ) hot chocolate ( okayish) and croissant (just fine) guy in the door was really nice even though we opted for takeout he was courteous enough to accommodate us inside due to monkeys all over

Overhyped place. The internet has created a lot of hype. It is like a below average bakery in any city. Dont waste your time waiting there. Ivry cafe very close to this llace had much better vibe and food. Plz dont bother to visit. Go for a takeaway cake then decide whether you want to spend time waiting for very average food.

Overhyped place. I did not find it soo great to be honest. Couldn’t figure out why it is soo popular. Tried 3-4 options from the menu but didn’t like it much.

🚫 Highly Disappointing & Honestly Shocking Experience Visited Landour Bakehouse, Mussoorie with our pet cat Luno, that was also in a Pet Backpack, and what followed was pure disrespect. Before we could even say a word, the doorman rudely told us to leave — no explanation, no courtesy, no basic manners. The tone was so arrogant, it felt humiliating. We weren’t even given a chance to request something as simple as takeaway. Let’s be clear — it’s NOT about pet policy. Every place can have rules. It’s about how you treat people. And here, customers are treated like they don’t matter at all. For a place that’s so hyped and crowded, the attitude is unbelievable. Good places earn respect through hospitality — not just popularity. 🐾 Pet owners, be aware — you’re clearly not welcome here. Save your time, money, and self-respect. There are far better places in Mussoorie that actually value customers.
