I had a great experience at the Trout House.  In starters i ordered 'gosht gilawat' and  'Nimbu mirch mahi tikka'.  The food looked very appealing, the portions were generous, the aroma was alluring and the taste was perfect. I then ordered 'bhuna gosht' along with Pudina laccha paratha and  'murg dum biryani'. The presentation and taste was very good. Bhuna gosht had the perfect colour and gravy was thick as required. The meat was perfectly cooked.   Chicken biryani was accompanied with 'vegetable raita' making it taste authentic, enhancing its taste.  The dessert platter (Gulab jamun,Shahi tukda ,Kheer)  looked nice. The appearance and taste of all the three items on the platter was good. Considering the taste, portions and presentation of food along with the great ambience of the place, I would say It was value for money. The overall dining experience was delightful.

Enjoy the beautiful weather as you soak in the crisp winter air by your personal campfire and live music at Trout House Bar and Grill. With dishes intricately cooked to utmost perfection dining here is an experience you can’t miss when in Mussoorie. From melt in your mouth kebabs to rich curries to freshly cooked Indian breads, the food here is rich, royal and absolutely remarkable. We absolutely loved their kebab platter, dum aloo Kashmiri, Kashmiri Parathas and Rose Kheer. Thecrazyindianfoodie recommends.

I wonder how this restaurant has such low rating - when it clearly should have more than 4.5. They have a very curated and fresh menu, great for people like us who do not want to see another menu with words like lababdar/kadhai or biryani in it. Their food is fresh, packed with flavors and delicious. It is a little pricey but totally worth it. Special thanks to Ujjawal for helping us with everything.

We dined at the restaurat on recommendation from a friend. Our server was Mr. Ujjwal and he recommended us the starters and the main course. The food was simply awesome and so was the service from Mr. Ujjwal and the team. Truly appreciate the chef Mr. Sukhveer for making lip smacking food.

One of the best restaurants in JW Marriott Mussorie. The food was really scrumptious. We ordered pizzas, pasta , risotto and lasagna. The Alfredo pasta especially was amazing . Good authentic Italian taste . Service was great too. JW never fails in its hospitality!

Ordered chicken tikka , paneer butter masala. Great food. Great service. Amazing singer. Amazing view at night. Must visit for a beautiful dinner under the stars with a subtle chill , a brilliant singer and courteous staff.

Great location, great view. Was lucky to have dinner under the moonlight listening to a live band. The paneer was really amazing. One of the best i have ever had. Would surely visit the place again.

POOR SERVICE POOR QUALITY FOOD POOR ATMOSPEHRE OVERALL TERRIBLE DURING MY VISIT , STAFF WAS BUSY FIGTING AMONST THEMSELVES , served cold food , service was bad , no apologies from staff , which was very rude I won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone
