Went here to try their special meals. One of the best meals in Mysore. Good for heavy eaters and it's unlimited. Grape juice and pineapple ice-cream with fruit salad are exceptional in taste. Bisi bele Baath is my favorite. Served well. Every item was delicious. Recommended for family

We went there after reading some recommendations online. We tried their idli, masala dosa, coffee, tea and tiffin thali . Their badam halwa was to die for. Loved their Upma as well. would definitely recommend it.

First day in Mysuru and here I’m at iconic MTR! First thing I ordered seeing Menu is Thatte Idli. And Masala Dosa. Must try if you’re in town, amazing food and good service.

Few simple food items on the menu, authentic south indian food, tastes decent, almost all the items are served with a small cup of ghee, ambiance is just ok but has a huge seating capacity with lots of tables and seatings, food items are costly when you compare it with other darshini restaurants, It's a simple family restaurant, nothing to exaggerate here. There's decent amount of parking space for both 2 & 4 wheelers.

We ate idly, vada, masala dose and filter kaapi to finish the breakfast. Taste is goo, however don't compare it to MTR of Bangalore. Given the mysore standard, the prices are in the higher side. Coffee was Fantastic!!!

Tried the legendary MTR in Mysuru. As an international chain, I expected more Jain-friendly options. Limited Jain dishes, no sambar—only chutney—which was disappointing. Wouldn’t suggest this place for Jain food seekers. However, the few Jain options we had were good in taste. Thank you.

We had been to MTR twice this week. Suffice to say it was very disappointing. No dish including coffee is comparable to the iconic Bangalore MTR. I wonder who the Chefs are. While items are pricey taste not commensurating with what they charge. As a frequent visitor to Lalbagh MTR this experience in Mysore was not a Happy outing. MTR management should ensure that their Mysore outlet maintains the same standards as in Bangalore.

The dosas served are of uttapam thickness nd very oily… not recommend if you are looking to eat the crispy dosas….all of them are as thick as uttapam…..
