My first and last visit to this place. I made a booking via Zomato. The staff refused to honour the booking and accept payment via Zomato because of 'LPG issues'. We had ordered mojitos and nothing that used LPG. We didn't order any food. The mojitos contained stale mint leaves and vile-tasting strawberry syrup. Besides, there was no drinks menu. One of the servers rattled off the names of 6-7 drinks that were available and we ordered from that list. After that the staff gave two hoots about us. The staff also turned off the AC when ours was the only table occupied in the restaurant. Cost-cutting much? The Soho Boutique Hotel looks impressive but this restaurant was a complete disappointment.

After seeing the reviews on Google and zomato we were misleaded and booked on zomato for our group of 16 . Never had such a bad experience of dining. Most of the starters/dishes in the menu were not available, again second option going to another hotel was ruled out as the kids were hungry , after waiting for more than 1 hour and we started them asking to serve us the food on whatever available was ordered and service was pathetic . Complimentary starters were offered to patch up delay in service which we did not take and sent it back , Cutlery was given on demand, food was not served just kept on table. No tissues was available in the washroom. Paratha and mutton curry was ordered, and Mutton curry was served after 15 minutes after serving hot Paratha . By the time Paratha was less hot and slightly less soft and but tasty. And one more speciality of the Restaurent is they Cook Mutton curry without mutton in it and when asked were is the mutton the Waiter javed never confessed nor felt sorry he said will check with Chef and never returned back after checking. We Have asked and also requested almost every staff of the dining to call the manager , and the manager was unavailable until our lunch was finished . When we told we will pay the bill after speaking to the manager.for the pathetic service , the manager was connected over the call , the manager was polite and sorry for the what ever happened in her absence and asked us to leave our contact details for the call back , we settled the bill and will also expect the call form the restaurent manager. Never expect any Hospitality in this place ,A great disappointment and would never never suggest this restaurant .

Had the worst dining experience today noon at the Salt restaurant @ Soho, Mysore. Had booked a table for 16 ppl (12 kids and 4 adults) via zomato. 80% of the items on the menu was not available. The service was pathetic, the attitude of server, Javed was horrible. We ordered almost 12 to 13 items, most of it was below average. The waiting staff had no clue about service, we had to ask for everything from spoons to fork to water glasses, main course plates. We were told that hotel had taken up an order of outside event, so we had to with whatever was available and served. My question is why did you accept the reservation is 16 ppl if you don't have the capacity to serve. They were trying to placate us with compliments while we had to wait for minimum 45 minutes for the dishes we ordered. The kids were cranky and tired of the long waiting because of the long waiting time. In short, the Salt @Soho failed miserably and spoilt the dining experience of the family. Never visiting again nor would I recommend it to any of my friends or family.

Pathetic service even before pre booked the table for 12 adults and 4kids. 1st order serve time for French fries was 45mintues , 50% of The menu options are not available in the menu , food ordered so late , irresponsible and delayed too much time to serve the order , ordered mutton curry with parota no mutton pieces in it. If you don’t serve customer with there orders why are you taking the pre booking tables? Total experience too bad.

Its a very laid back restaurant where the food is good and so is the ambience. Ample parking so you don’t have to worry on that. We went twice for dine in; once for lunch and another for dinner. Both the times food was really good. Starters are superb but biryani isn’t that great. Their mocktails are also worth a try.

I liked this restaurant. Maybe this is not advertized/publicised much i guess. The restaurant is hygienic. Decent ambience. Soft music and helpful and polite staffs. Even the food was tasty. We took kiwi mojito, broccoli cheese Wali, paneer Butter masala, butter roti everything was good in quantity and moderately expensive. There was no people when we went. Menu for veg there is no too much varieties but limited ones. Good restaurant to visit with family and friends.
