Want to have dinner under the stars then this is the place to visit Love the setting of the lawn where the live barbeque is set up Name it and you have all kinds of kebabs Chef Sam David and his team really saw to it that every detail was taken care of Mr Nagabhushan the manager was so very helpful and courteous and makes you feel so comfortable Thank you all

I came to this restaurant after a friend was raving about it. The ambience is very royal. The lighting and music is soothing. The guests of the restaurant were enjoying. The food is good. We ordered the Amritsari paneer tikka - the paneer was soft and succulent however the dish lacked the presentation. The same goes to stuffed mushroom. The biriyani was really good and so was the raita. Their Long Island ice tea was quite strong and had excess of gin. Overall, the experience was good in terms of service but the food can be improved.

Good things first-Great place, Nice to average food. Fentastic ambience. things to improve- I did not understand their tax system. they levy service charge which was not informed and not so common in Mysore. I was charged 150 for a coke, 10% service charge, 18% +28% gst. when i asked they had no answer. There is no 28% tax slab and more over you can apply one of the taxes not 2. if the restaurant can explain this it will be great.

The old Mysore is one of the best and this place is only good for the ambience but when it comes to food is little bit expensive in and around Yadavagiri !!! Food taste good & quantity of the food is also good !!!

This place is definitely worth to visit for the Old Mysore charm and architecture. BUT the food and service is pathetic. Definitely not at all worth the price! The much hyped murg tikka is average and biryani left an aftertaste of bad oil. My review is faster than the time it took for the main course and bill to come.

I had a bad experience at Shikhari Resturant at royal orchid in mysuru. The restaurant did not have facility to accept international credit card. Had to make payment in cash, which I had carried luckily. Do not know how they would have managed in case I did not carry cash. Would they have held me back or placed a complaint? This is surprising considering the status of the hotel and the international customer base who use their facilities. It was a totally frustrating & embarrassing experience as it spoilt our silver anniversary.

Ordered the chicken steak and biryani. The steak had one tiny piece of chicken with under seasoned mashed potatoes. The biryani was dry. That being said, the service was the worst thing about this place. They took 20 minutes to take our order, and over 30 minutes for the bill payment. It seemed like they only cater to the white customers. Our leftover parcel came in a container with no carry bag. For the relatively exorbitant amount they charge for the food, they don’t put anything of value in it or the service.

Pathetic Service, under staffed, uncourteous staff, food requires a lot of improvement. Only thing good about the Resturant is the place. Everything else they seem to get it wrong. Would recommend going here for the place ONLY and not have any other expectations.

We booked for shikari, but they said it is not available and took us to tiger trail. also later, the price in zomato and in restaurant are different. In zomato it is 800+ tax but in restaurant it is 999+tax.

Super slow service. Bland food. The only good thing that saved our evening was the ambience.
