This South Indian restaurant has truly become my everyday comfort spot. The food is simple, fresh, and consistently good — exactly what you want for regular meals. Their dosas are crisp and the sambar has that perfect homely taste that keeps you coming back. What I really love is the overall vibe — clean, calm, and welcoming, without any unnecessary fuss. Service is quick, and you never feel rushed, which makes it ideal for both breakfast and casual meals. And the highlight for me? Their chai ☕ After a satisfying South Indian meal, that cutting chai is just perfect — strong, flavorful, and so comforting. It’s become a small ritual for me to end my meal with tea here. Affordable, reliable, and comforting — this place feels less like a restaurant and more like a part of my daily routine. Highly recommended if you enjoy simple food, good chai, and a place you can keep coming back to.

I visited Anna Idli recently and was quite disappointed with the experience. The air conditioning wasn’t working, making the place uncomfortably warm. To make matters worse, there were mosquitoes buz. The food were decent, but the overall ambiance needs serious improvement. I wouldn’t recommend it until they fix these issues.”

The services can be improved — the tables and surroundings should be kept cleaner, and spoons, forks, and tissues should always be stocked on the table. The food was okay, not the best I’ve had. The dosa was good — crispy and buttery — but the sambhar was quite disappointing.

we went to the manish nagar outlet today and they told us that dosa is not available and only idli is available. after 20 mins they served dosa to the table next to us and said that their pan was not working when we asked but they didn't say that earlier....to serve old stale idlis they did this.... really poor service

We tried Anna Idli recently, hoping to enjoy authentic South Indian flavors. Unfortunately, most of the items we preferred—onion chilli uttapam, rava masala dosa, ghee podi idli, and appe—were disappointing. The pineapple sheera was okay, but everything else fell short. The batter used for the appe seemed stale, and the appe itself was undercooked. The sambar and chutneys lacked authentic South Indian taste. On top of that, the place is very congested—tables are so close together that the chairs of the back table touch, making it uncomfortable. Overall, the hype around this place seems overrated.

Thought of having an authentic South Indian food but it was really disappointing, sambhar was so pale, it doesn’t even tasted like sambhar. Also ordered benne dosa confirming with the waiter that they know or else I’ll order something else. They doesn’t even know what benne dosa is, in the name of benne dosa they served some dosa which was all loaded of oil. Rava dosa was full of onion. Really disappointed. Highly overpriced. Won’t recommend anyone.

Most of the items on the menu were unavailable. The washroom was out of order, and I had to use a mug to wash my hands—something I’ve never encountered in any restaurant before.
