Wow in Nainital main mall road in Hustle and bustle such adorable cafe exist I was impressed. Cafe Lakeside is situated inside Hotel Lakeside inn which is situated just infront of Nainital Lake on Mall road. Cafe lakeside is in 1st floor inside boutique Hotel of 16 rooms. Coming to the food I dined in 4 times here as i stayed in this hotel. starting from Breakfast one day I ordered- Kadak Masala- In whole Nainital this was the place where I had the best tea. it was super delicious and perfect blended with all masala. Tandoori Paneer Sandwich- Delicious Sandwich with fries to start the day. unexpectedly tasty. One night for Dinner we ordered- Creamy Walnut- Had Walnut pasta for the first time taste was well blended with Cheese with walnut and pasta. Must try unique taste. Paw Bhaji Fondue- It was just like normal paw Bhaji but uniquely serve as cheese fondue. the taste of bhaji was delicious and paw was crispy grilled to dip in Bhaji as fondue. This is also must try in This cafe. Russian Pastry- Their Pastry collection was attractive but we only Ordered this one and it was Okish in taste but looked fancy that's it. Other night for for dinner we ordered Paneer tikka Pizza which was again Delicious. For a change pizza was square topped with Paneer tikka marinated Paneer Qube, pepper, onion, tomato. it was delicious and best choice. Over all the food, Hospitality, View Cafe vibe everything was perfect and top notch. I was amazed to watch the food quality and taste because of so much rush still it was upto mark and better than other places in nainital. I would recommend this restaurant to people visiting Nainital. *Note this isn't Paid Promotion/Review*

The view is stunning year-round, and the space offers all the amenities you could need, including a rooftop heater for those enjoying the open-air lakeside view. The cuisine is excellent, with must-try items like hot chocolate with marshmallows and Thukpa.

They have a super thick shake in menu and the shake they provide is actually like water. when asked for thick shake they just added crushed brownie over the top and served us.In pasta they added red chilly powder when asked for spicy. Bread with pasta was so small and old. Aside, the charges for this is too high in terms of food. Rs. 310 per SUPER-THICK SHAKE is not worth.

Uncooked veggies in hot & sour soup which was average in taste Momos would give tibetans a scare Avocado toast was kind of okay Spicy Chipotle which tasted more cheese than Chipotle

Extremely overrated is what I would say. Management of this place is gone for a toss. No one cares if you have entered the cafe just to click pics, sit in the waiting area or roam around. Lots of staff roaming here and there but none cared to ask if we need a table. Approached 2-3 of them as we needed a table outside with view of the lake but all of them were engaged. Waited patiently for 30 mins or so, some more folks who came after us were given spaces to sit outside. Upon confronting, the staff showed helplessness and just ran away. Another staff person called us outside indicating there's a place vacant to sit, but when we went there he had placed 2 stools in-front of a pillar, with no table, not sure what was he trying to achieve. Few people were just sitting on tables, kept clicking pics without ordering anything or even move aside to make way for other customers. Cafe staff didn't feel necessary to request them to free up some space for new customers. This place is crowded by people clicking pics everywhere. Not against that, but cafe management should at-least make way for new customers coming in also, crowd should be handled properly. Pathetic experience.

Service was very poor they were out of stock of many things which ever we asked and they have unnecessarily created there hype we waited for 5 mins and when we asked for table ooohhh it will take 1 hour and after 5 mins we got the table wwhhoo very quick.
