Wow in Nainital main mall road in Hustle and bustle such adorable cafe exist I was impressed. Cafe Lakeside is situated inside Hotel Lakeside inn which is situated just infront of Nainital Lake on Mall road. Cafe lakeside is in 1st floor inside boutique Hotel of 16 rooms. Coming to the food I dined in 4 times here as i stayed in this hotel. starting from Breakfast one day I ordered- Kadak Masala- In whole Nainital this was the place where I had the best tea. it was super delicious and perfect blended with all masala. Tandoori Paneer Sandwich- Delicious Sandwich with fries to start the day. unexpectedly tasty. One night for Dinner we ordered- Creamy Walnut- Had Walnut pasta for the first time taste was well blended with Cheese with walnut and pasta. Must try unique taste. Paw Bhaji Fondue- It was just like normal paw Bhaji but uniquely serve as cheese fondue. the taste of bhaji was delicious and paw was crispy grilled to dip in Bhaji as fondue. This is also must try in This cafe. Russian Pastry- Their Pastry collection was attractive but we only Ordered this one and it was Okish in taste but looked fancy that's it. Other night for for dinner we ordered Paneer tikka Pizza which was again Delicious. For a change pizza was square topped with Paneer tikka marinated Paneer Qube, pepper, onion, tomato. it was delicious and best choice. Over all the food, Hospitality, View Cafe vibe everything was perfect and top notch. I was amazed to watch the food quality and taste because of so much rush still it was upto mark and better than other places in nainital. I would recommend this restaurant to people visiting Nainital. *Note this isn't Paid Promotion/Review*

On the mall road at Nainital our group was in a party mode as it was one of the group members birthday and all were looking for a new place for the treat!! The hunt ended at Cafe Lake Side which has been getting great footfalls since last few years. This cafe is at the beginning of mall road and though we have seen it crowded at our earlier visits also but somehow had not eaten before. The place has a nicely done interiors and also has a lake side outer sitting as well. The menu is mix of Indian, Chinese and Continental. The place was bustling with tourists. We ordered Chilly paneer, Cream loaded Nachos for starters and were yummy. That gave us idea to have more of starters as the full meal and skip main course. We went ahead with Paneer Tikka, Pav Bhaji, Dahi Ke Kabab and the family size vegetable loaded pizza.All items were great and pizza and pav bhaji stood out. The heavy meal was washed with fresh lime soda. The restaurant also has a fresh bakery section to it. A great get together treat with good food and awesum views!!!

Cafe Lakeside is one of the most popular cafés on Mall Road and is almost never empty. The outdoor seating offers beautiful views of Nainital Lake, though it can feel a bit cramped during busy hours. We had the cappuccino, which was excellent and served with a small chocolate cookie. Cozy vibe, great coffee, and amazing lake views. Come around sunset for best experience.

They have a super thick shake in menu and the shake they provide is actually like water. when asked for thick shake they just added crushed brownie over the top and served us.In pasta they added red chilly powder when asked for spicy. Bread with pasta was so small and old. Aside, the charges for this is too high in terms of food. Rs. 310 per SUPER-THICK SHAKE is not worth.

Uncooked veggies in hot & sour soup which was average in taste Momos would give tibetans a scare Avocado toast was kind of okay Spicy Chipotle which tasted more cheese than Chipotle

Service was very poor they were out of stock of many things which ever we asked and they have unnecessarily created there hype we waited for 5 mins and when we asked for table ooohhh it will take 1 hour and after 5 mins we got the table wwhhoo very quick.
