Located right opposite to CBS Bus depot, this Rajmahal hotel, and restaurant is the first thing you see as you get off the bus. A simple family-type restaurant with a standard North Indian and snacks menu, Hotel Rajmahal would be a place where one goes when food is a need and not a want. Well, we were staying in this hotel, so it only made sense to pacify our grumbling tummies by getting some breakfast from here.  The downstairs seating houses just 4 tables, enough for 16 guests, but there's upstairs seating as well which was not open as of yet due to a lack of customers at 10 am on a Sunday. Most of the other guests who ended up coming in here while we were eating were the traveler kind, who got off the bus and headed here to get a quick bite in the form of something South Indian.  We started off with MISAL PAV, cause why not? Well, it was slightly disappointing as Nashik's misal is not at all like Mumbai's misal. They use spicy ghatiya instead of misal farsan, and their usal is also more rasa and less pulses. At least they served it with pav and not bread. That being said, the taste was not bad, or perhaps I was just too hungry to register it. After chowing on some misal we ordered PURI BHAJI. Again, their bhaji was a mix of potato and peas with some thick masala gravy, as opposed to the sort of dry potato sabji we Mumbaikars are used to having. But again, it has a very flavourful and delectable taste.  We ended our meal with some COFFEE and BREAD BUTTER, which took more time than misal pav and puri bhaji combined, which was annoying. We were the only customers dining in here and still, the kitchen is taking ~17 minutes to prepare bread butter! Overall, if you excuse the below-average service and above-average waiting time, this could end up being a go-to place when you are just hungry but don't want to invest mental space on where you want to go to, and still get some appreciable grub to enjoy.
