So my quest for the perfect Thali continues. And Shagun fared a tad better than the Aurangabad is. Nice fare, premium stuff, Rs 180 only. You had chhole masala (wow!), Paneer dish, yellow aloo veggie ( again A grade. With a touch of garlic), green tomato curry ( Nah!), teekhi dal and Gujarati kadhi. Dhoklas and dahi wadas. Chapattis, bhaktis and dal khichdi. No frills of chhaas or sweets. Sweets were a choice of aamrakhand or rasgulla or gulab jamuna - 40 Rs each. Clean place, pleasant owners, good quality stuff. Always a yes whenever I am in the city.

There are only thalis system available here You can not order anything apart from a thali Which I feel is a bit backstep Otherwise food n service is good
