I want to share a very unfortunate experience I had at this restaurant so that others don’t fall into the same trap. I was invited here through what turned out to be an online fake date scam, and when the bill arrived, I was completely shocked — I was charged ₹28,000 for food and drinks that, in reality, should not have cost more than ₹2,000–₹3,000. The pricing was highly inflated and misleading, and it was clear that I had been taken advantage of. There was no transparency about the menu costs, and I later realized this is a known scam tactic where unsuspecting guests are brought here under false pretenses and billed outrageous amounts. Not only was the experience upsetting, but it has also left me feeling deceived and exploited. I strongly caution anyone thinking of visiting this place — please be alert and avoid falling for such traps. Transparency and fairness should be the foundation of any hospitality business, and unfortunately, I did not experience that here.

⚠️ WARNING: FRAUD & EXTORTION ALERT ⚠️ I visited Mexico Café (4Quarters, 3rd Floor, Cross River Mall) and had one of the worst and most threatening experiences of my life. They did not show any menu or prices before taking the order — it’s a complete trap. After ordering just 3 Red Bulls, one snack, and a hookah, they gave a fake bill of ₹9,900! When I questioned it, the staff started threatening, shouting, and even got physically aggressive. It became a life-threatening situation, and I was forced to pay ₹5,000 via PhonePe (bqr@kotak) just to leave safely. This place is a scam operation, and after checking online, I found that many others have been cheated the same way. Please do not visit this café — it’s unsafe and fraudulent. Authorities need to take strict action to stop this exploitation. Be careful and report if you’ve faced something similar.

Extremely disappointing and scammy experience. I was lured to this place through a Tinder match and had no idea I was walking into a trap. The prices are absolutely outrageous – ₹2000 for a 60ml drink, ₹500 per Red Bull, and ₹5000 for a basic hookah. It costs me 11000 at the end. The girl I met there started ordering without any prior discussion, and the staff just encouraged it. I realized too late that this was a well-orchestrated scam involving both the girl and the café staff. Food quality was below average and certainly not worth the price. Please stay away from this place – it’s designed to rip people off. Strict police action must be taken against such unethical practices and this cafe should be shut down permanently.

⚠️ SCAM WARNING – AVOID THIS PLACE ⚠️ [4 quarter club] – [Cross river mall] I’m posting this to warn others: this place is running a scam. I visited this place and was misled/tricked with many things e.g., hidden charges, fake cover fees, overpriced drinks, being forced to pay for things you didn’t order. When I questioned the bill, staff became [aggressive/unhelpful/intimidating], and I was pressured to pay. The final charge was [15,000], only for 2 hookah, 3 red bull, salad and French fries. This is clearly a trap, once you will come, you will definitely loose your hard earning money. I HAVE REPORTED TO POLICE AND LOCAL AUTHORITY, very sad to saying that, THEY ARE ALL INVOLVING in this.

Avoid This Club –100% Scam I strongly advise against visiting this club. In my experience, they operate unethically—hiring women to lure male guests under the guise of casual interaction. These women push customers to order basic soft drinks, which are later billed at absurd rates (up to ₹2000 for just 60 mL). The food is equally poor in quality and highly overpriced. The entire setup feels like a trap to make guests spend heavily for little to no value. Shockingly, even the mall management seems aware of this but chooses to remain silent. This place feels more like a scam than a legitimate business. Stay away.

My brother was recently scammed by a girl he met on Tinder. She convinced him to go to a club with her, where they ordered a few items. At the end, he was presented with an unexpectedly high bill of ₹11,500. It became evident that this was part of a planned scam. We strongly suspect that the girl is associated with a group working with the club to deceive and exploit unsuspecting individuals.
