Really loved the place. It is a quiet, no frills Bengali restaurant in CR Park. Ordered a Mutton Thali, which had basmati rice, lovely spicy, and thankfully not over cooked, mutton curry. In addition it had a quarter papad, some onion, and mango sweet chutney. They served a bottled water which was charged separately. Topped up everything with a small matka of sweet and creamy mishti doi, which was charged extra. All the items and prices were as indicated…nothing misleading. The food, esp. the rice, mutton and doi were excellent and loved it. All served in very traditional kansa (I think) utensils. The one point I have taken away is that I wanted some more items in a typical Bengali thali…even at the cost of higher price. I do feel the costs were quite economical. Things I missed and hope if they could add…even as an add on option (not full plate sort of thing, but just a portion for single person) are Govindbhog rice rather than basmati, a bit of daal, and replace the papad with aloo jhuri ( I always thought aloo jhuri is more typical Bengali than papad!). I don’t know many mutton eaters come here (I guess the draw would be more of various lovely fish dishes) but would love it if these changes could be made. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

I recently dined at the Bengali restaurant and found it to be a mixed experience. The ambience was inviting, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The decor exuded an authentic touch, offering a pleasant backdrop for the meal. The menu was thoughtfully curated, featuring a diverse selection of Bengali dishes. The array of choices allowed for a well-rounded exploration of the cuisine. However, while the menu promised much, the execution in the kitchen left room for improvement. Some dishes fell short of the expected flavor profile, leaving me wanting more in terms of taste and authenticity. Service, unfortunately, was a bit inconsistent. While the staff was friendly and attentive at times, there were moments when attention waned, resulting in delays and missed opportunities for a seamless dining experience. Overall, the restaurant shows potential. With a bit of fine-tuning in the kitchen and a focus on consistent, attentive service, it has the makings of a standout establishment in the realm of Bengali cuisine. I look forward to returning in the hopes of seeing this potential fully realized.

Wow!! I have never been such disappointed after ordering from a bengali restaurant in Delhi since 2015. I have been a regular customer of 6th Ballygunge(Saket), Bijoli grill(Cr park) and Oh calcutta( gk)...and this is for the first time I have tried Aami Bangali just to change the taste...!! I have ordered two fish fries and to my surprise there is no fish inside...i am not expecting bhetki...i m eating a fish fry without fish inside.....to remind you the prices of the fish fries...its 190 per piece (ordered via zomato) ...6th Ballygunge charge Rs 400 (online order price)per piece with thick of pure bhetki inside...bijoli grill charges Rs 200 per piece(off line take away), Oh calcutta charges Rs 300 per piece (online order) and all of them atleast provides quality after charging money...even Dadu cutlet shop...charges Rs 80 per piece and atleast provides basa fillet inside....but the best bhetki fish fry with no fish inside goes to Aami bangali...you guys are cheating your customer....hope your owner actually keeps an eye on the reviews and do something about the quality...sorry but would not dare to try anything from your restaurant henceforth...nor will refer anyone...infact will discourage...best wishes for nothing actually...continue cheating...

Terrible food, horrible and indisciplined staff, miserable service, worst food quality and exorbitantly priced. Here a bottle of mineral water was Rs 31 Luchi (maida puris small sized) 4 pcs was Rs 241 A bowl little over half filled of dal (mishti cholar dal) costed whooping Rs 271 Mishti pulao, a very small portion, costed Rs 341. For two people we ended paying Rs 1,800. All food was served late and thereby was cold. Was made to wait over 45 minutes to get cold food. When asked to repeat a plate of luchi, it came after 20 minutes and that too were cold and stale. Horrible staff, infact the place is short staffed and the only time the were fast to your table was when they wanted you to vacate as they had a long waiting. Feel cheated after having dinner at this worst food outlet within the vicinity of CR Park. Advice: save money and your taste buds by NOT visiting this place.

Location is good and food is okay, but per demand they don't have staff to handle especially at peak lunch and dinner times, as delivery orders keep on coming too. order management and service is very poor. If you make the mistake of coming here on a Saturday or a Sunday, be prepared to: (1) Be ignored by waiting staff (2) Wait for 1-1.5 hours for an order of average 4 items (3) Chuck your plans to go anywhere after dining here If the restaurant takes note of customer feedback seriously, they have the potential of doing really well in this area.

When this restaurant opened a few years back it used to serve a really good and authentic bengali cuisine. However, with passage of time it has steadily declined and today the food cannot be called bengali at all. I visited yesterday with my family and experienced the food taste first hand. I suspect their cook no longer understands Bengali cooking at all. Only visit if you have no other choice or are not very concerned with taste and quality.

the worst echor dalna we received which I ordered for my sister today for her birthday.. they just boiled the echor and spread a gravy of melon seed.. results in a typical wrost smell and taste of the gravy they didn't prepare not even clean the enchor in bengali style .. if they can't prepare a bengali item why do they include those items in the menu ..
₹950 for two
