Adrift in Aerocity, Delhi, is a delightful culinary escape, offering a refined Japanese dining experience that stands out in the city’s growing food scene. From the moment you walk in, the upscale vibe of the restaurant is evident. The modern, chic décor, coupled with impeccable service, immediately sets the tone for an evening of high-end dining. The highlight of our meal was the Omakase. The selection of dishes, expertly crafted with fresh ingredients, took us on a culinary journey of delicate flavors and stunning presentations. The variety of sushi, sashimi, and small plates were a testament to the skill and precision of the chefs. Each bite felt like an art form, and the attention to detail was truly remarkable. While the presentation of the dessert was beautiful, the flavors didn’t resonate as strongly as the savory courses. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it did fall short of the exceptional experience the rest of the meal provided. What truly elevates Adrift, however, is the service. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure every aspect of our experience was enjoyable. They helped guide us through the menu with expertise and were more than happy to accommodate any special requests. Overall, Adrift offers some of the best Japanese food in Delhi, with its luxurious ambiance, top-tier service, and a menu that impresses. If you're looking for a refined dining experience with quality Japanese cuisine, Adrift is definitely a place worth visiting. We actually had a great time. Definitely coming back here for more.

It is a Japanese restaurant and definitely a must try. Had so many things there that I can’t even name everything properly tried ramen, some kind of noodles, dimsum, sushi and a few mocktails. Overall, everything was pretty nice and well done. The only thing that didn’t stand out much was the ramen, as I’ve honestly had better elsewhere. and it is a vv pretty place to visit.😍 Still, a good experience overall!

I don't remember the chef's name but it must be Ashish or Aakash, you can find him at the sushi counter. He along with his team is an excellent host and serves wonderful cuisine. Their sushi's are must try delicacies

Went in with a lot of expectations but unfortunately, the food was not something I was blown away with. We were not too hungry and had 3 dishes. We had the recommended fried chicken for appetisers which was decent. (you can never go wrong with fried chicken :) )The prawn dumplings were quite bland and disappointing. We had the black cod for mains. (I love black cod but have never seen it in restaurants in Delhi and Bangalore) That was actually good. The portion sizes are small, so do not expect to have a full hearty meal here. Ambience is good but was surprising to find it empty on a Sunday evening.

My expectations vs the actual experience was different- with no disrespect to the chef but there is a difference in a chicken karage and a chicken pakora… what we got however was the latter … I like that they had kirin ichiban as a beer option but it was sad that it wasn’t cold beer … we ordered the Assorted Tuna Sashimi Platter ….. underwhelming is me putting it lightly …. We eventually paid our dues and left for another venue …

We had a very disappointing experience at(Adrift Kaya)JW Marriott on our wedding anniversary. We had made the reservation in advance and even informed the team about a slight delay, shifting our booking from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM which they accepted without any issue. However, when we arrived, we were given one of the worst tables at the front off the door, with no normal arrangement or decoration on table as regual restaurants. This was especially upsetting because, in our past experiences at other 5-star restaurants, guest are treated with much more thought and care. What made it worse was seeing better seating being given to a foreign group, while no effort was made to accommodate us, despite our prior booking. It honestly felt unfair and discriminatory. At the end, they offered a small pastry and some mini chocolates, but that does not make up for ruining such an important occasion. Spending ₹4500+ on just two dishes, we expected at least a decent experience especially on a day that comes once a year. The explanation given that a large group walked in suddenly doesn’t justify the situation. If that was the case, it should have been communicated when we called earlier to adjust our timing. Overall, this was a complete failure in terms of service and experience. We will not be returning and will be sharing our experience so others don’t risk spoiling their special occasions here. thay are resist and unprofessional. I need the action on them

Ate the tasting menu tonight and landed in the ER with Food Poisoning Place was empty so I suspect their seafood had been on ice too long and with the increasing temperatures had gone bad. (The cod though tasty to begin with had that “fishy” smell that comes when fish is stale / has been on ice too long) Eat at your own risk - especially when the bill for dinner is 10k a head!
₹4500 for two
