Went there for authentic afghan kebabs, and it was somewhat near about my expectations. I tried Mutton Chopan which is their signature dish, mutton seekh kebab, tandoori chicken, Uzbeki Pulao. All were very subtle with very little spices, just a little salt with tons of flavoured meat. Tandoori chicken felt a little over charred but fine for the vfm it offers. for veg we tried a started called Ashak, dumplings topped with a tomato lentil sauce, not very appealing to our Indian Palate. All the startes are served with the Afghan Naan which a thick piece of bread, not very flavourful, pairs well with their chutney. Uzbeki Pulao is served with rajma, and also 2 very succulent pieces of lamb, just perfect. the best dishes acc to me are the Mutton Chopan and the pulao. Must visit if you like the meat and it's natural flavours.

Not for vegetarians tho the veg accompaniments are delicious The way the food is served is a treat Definitely recommended tho Sadly alcohol is not allowed Meats are very succulent and not heavy on spice so the feel good factor is good even after gorging on the meats The bread is awesome it’s an accompaniment with the dishes I even packed some for home No place for dessert so I don’t know tho the ice cream with dry fruit’s everyone was ordering looked sinfully good

Afghan Darbar offers a warm, cozy ambience with tasteful interiors that make for a pleasant dining experience. We ordered the Mutton Chopan Kebab, and it was excellent—the char-grilled flavor and juiciness of the meat really stood out. However, the customer service needs improvement. A waiter accidentally dropped my can of Diet Coke, which spilled. That’s fine—it happens. But what wasn’t fine was the lack of any gesture from the restaurant. They didn’t offer a replacement or make any adjustment to the bill. In a competitive space—especially with Mazaar restaurant setting high standards—Afghan Darbar needs to watch out and raise the bar.

The overall food was NOT GOOD. We ordered Mutton tikka kebab, chicken qorma and Mantu (non veg dimsums). the mutton tikka kebab was fine. nothing great. but, not bad. then came chicken qorma which tasted like boiled chicken cooked in tomato gravy. couldn't taste anything else. it came with Afghani naan, which were very hard and I feel they can be avoided, but, unfortunately, that is the only bread they serve. the Afghani naan served by road side vendors just outside this place are VERY GOOD. Afghani darbar chefs could learn how to cook the naan from these people. then came the Mantu (lamb dimsums spread with lentil sauce on top and served in a pool of CURD). This was so awful that it made me dislike the previous dish a bit less. overall, the food is abysmal. I mean, it might be good to afghanis, but, if you are a Punjabi who loves flavours, avoid this place.

Zero service and have to wait long to get the food even if it's not a rushed time. The server and the person at cash counter doesn't care. They just want their money and ignorance. Working somehow on google reviews but waste of money.
