I am one of the oldest chicken biryani lover of Al Nawaz Restaurant. I have ordered yesterday one Chicken Biryani from Al Nawaz with my friend to Libreville, Gabon, Central West Africa who was travelling. It took me 10 years back when we were staying near Palika Bazar, Gurgaaon for Experion Windchants Township Construction. We used to come Al Nawaz Restaurant after spending 1700-2000 Rs on Ola/Uber to eat this favourite chicken biryani for 140 Rs. The taste of biryani is exactly same. Hats off to the chef!!!

Awesome food Ordered mutton biryani, chicken malai tikka, chicken kalmi kabab, fresh lime soda. Chicken was juicy and food was flavourful.

Al Nawaz Restaurant is located very close to Okhla Vihar Metro Station on the Magenta Line. At present, some maintenance work is underway, so dining is being arranged downstairs. The setup is temporary but adequate, so I am rating the place mainly on the basis of food and service. We ordered mutton burra, mutton nihari, and mutton banjara. All three dishes tasted very good. I have had burra and nihari multiple times in the Jama Masjid area, and the versions here come quite close. Mutton banjara was a first for me and I liked it. It contains a whole garlic bulb in the dish, so those who are averse to garlic may want to keep that in mind. The khameeri roti made with atta tasted fine, though it was somewhat different in taste and colour from what I have had earlier, with a darker shade. Service was fine. We pointed out something on the bowl given for collecting bones, and it was addressed immediately. Pricing was reasonable.

Good place to try some authentic mughlai food. The mutton kebabs were really amazing-it’s must have. The biryani too is aromatic and tasty.

Service is fast. The pricing is higher for the quantity. Kalmi kabab is a speciality and worth trying. Mutton barra is also good. Overall, mutton dishes are better than chicken here.

Heard a lot about the place but didn’t find anything extraordinary. Started with their Mutton seekh 5/5 Mutton barra 1/5 Mutton Nihari 4/5 Changezi 1/5 Khamiri 5/5 Mutton seekh is a must try dish at this place, on the other hand button barra was burnt with Hardly any meaty pieces on it. Nihari was nice in taste with khamiri… Changezi was the biggest disappointment it tasted like butter chicken. Hygiene standards were really low of the restaurant. As it was 4:30pm entire kitchen was messed up with dirty utensils… doesn’t know how a restaurant of a 5star chef can bhe so unhygienic.

This restaurant used to be really good. I have travelled from chanakyapuri to Jasola to eat their biryani. After many months, I ordered their chicken biryani today and it turned out to be the blandest biryani of my life. Theres absolutely no flavour. For a full box and 1 chicken roll (which was just as bad) i paid almost 1500. Ridiculous pricing for below average food. Will never recommend or order again.

They don't know how to cook, especially the breads, i ordered garlic naan and chicken changezi both are over priced. Garlic naan was hard and tasted like lachcha prantha and changezi was like butter chiken with red gravy. Also they took so much time, so i wasted my time and money both.

Don’t waste your money, worst restaurant in whole Delhi , Very pricy food with very poor food quality and taste. They don’t even know how to cook butter chicken. Go anywhere else but not this restaurant !!!!

Was shocked to see such a decline in the quality of food at this restaurant used to be an awesome Mughlai place now forgotten to cook even butter chicken don’t waste your time and money by coming here
