Al-Qureshi in Alaknanda serves some of the best Chicken Tikka, perfectly marinated and beautifully cooked and their Kadhai Chicken is rich and flavorful. Fresh roomali rotis and quality meat make the meal even better. The place does get quite noisy, and service is on the slower side with inattentive staff, but for the price, it’s an economical spot well worth recommending.

their kebabs, specifically mutton seekh, are really good and authentic. Gravies are almost all bad, and they certainly don't know how to cook a nihari. Lastly, the staff and service are nothing to rave about. I recommend going to try it only for the tandoor items and the mutton seekh is a must try. Everything else is quite poor. We always get roomali roti and they have lately started khamiri which also was pretty good

Al qureshi should really get down from the high arrogant horse that they are in and try and make their food LESS spicy. Despite telling them to put less spice, the food not once but twice was so spicy, NO NORMAL PERSON CAN EAT IT. Also the mutton seekh kebab are a JOKE. So spicy that one cannot taste the mutton at all plus it was hard. NEVER GET FOOD FROM HERE. ARROGANT STAFF.

The worst kind of staff and service ever .. while we were waiting for our table the owner himself kept giving away tables to his favourite people and this was not once but multiple times .. while me and my family kept waiting .. the most rude and worst service ever .. not just the staff but the owner himself !!! Worst .. pathetic !!! 😡😡🤬

Worst worst worst. No other word can explain the restaurant better than this. Raw meat which is unacceptable. Raw chicken raw mutton chunks in the gravy as well as in the tikka. Repeatedly complaint given but no response from their end. Will never go there again. Avoid it if you wana have a good time.

Very poor preparation. Had very high expectation after coming back here after 8 long years. But in some cases old is not gold ! Sad tasting mutton nihari keema less keema curry with fat as mutton “pieces”. A very passable butter chicken ! Definitely not recommended

The environment outside the restaurant is absolutely disgusting. Every day, the staff wash the floors and simply push all the dirty water onto the road outside. There’s a mosquito infested pond which stinks. Yuck.

I found a piece of plastic in their tandoori roti and they didnt even apologise when I showed it to the owner as well. Sad. This is my last visit here. We used to enjoy their food but no more coming here after this

Faced extreme misbehaviour by the staff who picked up the call today. I’m a regular customer and to face this kind of awful behaviour and attitude on the phone is pathetic. PATHETIC ! SERVICE TOO BAD.

Didn’t have the option of giving 0 stars, otherwise would have given that. The place sucks, the food is worth way less than they price it, exorbitant pricing and shitty service.
