Pathetically Small Portions of Food, yet Exorbitantly Priced!!! 1. All Al Kauser restaurants are crammed, uncomfortable seating, and unhygienic. Why??? 2. But the food is as expensive and they charge like 5 star fine dining. By what logic??? Everything is so ridiculously expensive here. Just 2 pieces of Kakori Kebabs or Galauti Kebabs cost ₹439. You can get two full tandoori chickens at better restaurants for the price of 1 tandoori chicken at Al Kauser. It is better to eat Kakori and Galauti Kebabs somewhere else instead of Al Kauser. They seriously need to rework on their prices and ambience. Also, the worst Mutton Nihari I've ever had was at Al Kauser. These guys don't know how to make Nihari. Even the quantity of their Nihari and Korma is so pathetically less that even a small child will feel it is less. Varqi parathas are dripping with oil and are difficult to chew. This is definitely not genuine Awadhi. The Varqi parathas are supposed to soft and easily chewable. It's just a matter of time before Al Kauser gets a competitor who is not greedy, prices competitively and realistically and has better, comfortable seating and ambience. The day this happens Al Kauser's monopoly of Awadhi food will be finished.

Worst butter chicken ever. It was so spicy and so sweet at the same time that I threw it in the dustbin. My stomach got upset the same day. Can't believe it's from such a renowned brand. Better improve the quality or this vikaspuri unit will shut down in sometime.
