Went to try some authentic Kolkata style cuisine and I am highly impressed with this place. Firstly loved kolkata style chicken biryani, perfect. Tried chicken malai kebab and chicken handi as well as totally loved it. Highly recommended for non veg food.

I just had biryani that too half, quantity and pieces were mind boggling, taste was chumeshwari. Do try it. Jagah todi compact hai but still 10-20 people at a time, washroom bi hai, chosy and clean ambience . Will post the video on my Instagram

I don't know why some people have given negative reviews. I simply loved the biryani, honestly it is so much similar to the authentic kolkata biryani. It's a must try place for those who crave for bengali biryani in gurgaon!

Let’s first talk about the taste of the food. We ordered the Kolkata Mutton Biryani and Chicken Chaap — both were delicious. For those who haven’t had a chance to visit Kolkata and try its famous biryani (with potato and egg), this place offers a taste remarkably close to the original. The customer service was warm and attentive, prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. One observation — similar to a few other places — the quantity of rice felt a bit more compared to the number and size of mutton pieces, so it helps to have a side dish alongside. In terms of ambience, don’t expect anything fancy; it’s simple but comfortable. One point worth mentioning for transparency — there seems to be some ambiguity about whether this is an official branch of the original Aminia Kolkata. The menu mentions a long history, but this outlet isn’t listed on Aminia Kolkata’s official website. While this one uses the tagline “Aminia since 1929,” the Kolkata brand says “Aminia – The Taste You Love.” It’s possible that this is operated by someone connected to the original family, though that isn’t clearly stated. Either way, from a taste perspective, the food was excellent and we left fully satisfied.

Was craving for real biryani for long and been to many restaurants for the same. But getting a good biryani is a task in the city where speed is the only way to assess the food. Thankfully this place serves the biryani which is as authentic as the dish could be with signature aloo and egg of Kolkata style biryani. Chicken Kali mirch tikka was good flavourful, mutton roll was very good too. Though Pasinda kabab was a passé but to sum the feast up Phirni was real yummmmm. Overall the place is small cozy and food is flavourful with not so much of butter or oil.

nowhere close to Kolkata Aminia . if Aminia owners are reading this review I have one question for you. is it a franchise? if yes then they can surely ruin the name . the day we visited , there was a photoshoot of the restaurant going on . we were made to wait outside . then once entered . food was delivered after 30 minutes and then there were no waiters nearby for any additional orders . or to refill water . That's why Arsalan who just opened their branch in delhi excels . because they put their manpower and kolkata people including chefs .

Visited this place yesterday, had a big menu but items were scarce. No vegetarian options so vegetarians can't have anything. Then, No kathi rolls available either. Only Biryani and other items were available. The service was very slow. aloo and egg biryani was requested with an extra egg and they missed both the eggs . 1 raita served with 2 biryanis, had to ask it multiple times for the 2nd raita. Couldn't enjoy the food in silence as consistently we had to ask for the requested items.

I wish I could have given a negative star, this restaurant is just playing fraud among the people by displaying the different menu and when you visit the restaurant, most of the things are not available as per the menu and staff simply says " Sir menu humara change ho gaya hai.... zomato pe doosara menu hai "

They are froud, as they charge for 5 pieces mutton biryani and deliver only 3 pieces. above that if you try to raise the issue the guy named Uttam hangups the calls.
