It's not a very popular choice when it comes to eating Chinese. But after my recent visit ,I have realised that this place serves great Chinese food. Ambience is formal, vibes are good. The open kitchen with a long window just makes the whole experience of eating more vibrant. Dimsums are good and so are the starters like the Guiyang Chicken and the Sliced fish Sichuan style. Thai Curry with Sticky rice was just amazing. The place dies extremely good during lunch hours especially with guests from nearby Embassies and consulates, some if whom are loyalists.

One of my favourite joints...why because the quantity is the best among all 5*. The waiters Vineet and Pankaj do an amazing job suggesting the right food and serving. Food tastes just too good. A must try for Indian Chinese fans. Prices are high but took 50% on girf.

Ano tai is an authentic Chinese fine dining restaurant.I recently visited this place for lunch. It is set up beautifully and have a live/see through kitchen. We started our meal with corn kernels in salt and pepper.Very nice and crispy with no spices.Simple dish with basic ingredients. Next we had chilli garlic noodles with sautéed beans.Chilly garlic noodles were perfectly cooked. They were spicy and not bland like other authentic Chinese restaurant serves.Beans on the other hand were also good. However I don’t like beans but these beans were lightly sautéed with a nice flavour of garlic. Overall we had a good time. The food was good.Staff was friendly and well informed about all the dishes.

Good Food, courteous staff! Let the servers guide you in what to order specially if you like spicy food. Hand picked spicy fish, chicken & noodles are truly great to taste. Jumbo prawns in soy sauce with ginger power is worth trying for people who like it sweet honey chilli items. Definitely worth recommending if you don’t go out often and want to visit a place worth it’s salt and have a great time.

Being a genuine admirer of ‘Eggspectation’ form the Jaypee group, it egged me to make a visit to their Chinese restaurant at Vasant Vihar for a meal. Actually went there twice, in order to sample all I could. The restaurant is sophisticated, classy and up scale. It has an open kitchen to add a bit of zest to the place and the service standards are well maintained. The seating area is limited and on weekends you might have to wait for a table, therefore best to reserve a table for yourself. They serve prawn crackers as compliments and I found them pretty unappetizing. I ordered the prawn sweet corn soup, which is average and nothing to create a first impression. Moving one, on my first visit we had ordered the Jumbo Prawns which was deep fried and with a bit of ginger/garlic garnishing. I found the prawns to be too oily and heavy, not the way I had hoped for. We also ordered the poach chicken dumpling, which was basically chicken dumplings with some soya sauce flavoured light topping on it, again an average preparation. On my second visit we ordered the crisp chilli lamb and the stir fried prawn with chillies. The lamb was well flavoured, slightly on the sweeter side but pleasant to eat. The prawn dish this time round was properly fried and flavoured with some green chillies. Both the starters were nothing extraordinary but maintained a dignified presence. For the main course, we ordered a portion of chicken fried rice, vegetable garlic noodles and sliced lamb in black bean sauce. The fried rice was a bit dry to my taste, the noodles had great flavour and well prepared. The lamb dish was also nice, not overpowering tastes and went well with the noodles. To conclude, this is no Wow! Chinese restaurant. You may visit the place for it convenience, the valet parking, the upscale restaurant and away from the rush that you get these day in the Malls. The food is average but the place is sombre and peaceful.
