The tree detailing all across the interior of Barush-The Lounge provides a glimpse of love for nature and at the same time the scented candles give a feel of dreamlike luminescence. No matter what’s happening out there, the soothing music flows through @the entire lounge, from its common area to its private seating area. And if you are planning to throw a private party in the unique ambience, the team is all ready to clean up the common area and turn it into a happening dance floor with exotic tree motif detailing at the roof top. Barush with a calendar full of events gives an equal play to luscious food. The menu is largely Neo-Indian along with an experimental touch (like naan pizza) to it. On a weekday afternoon we started with a shining silver glass of Adams Apple, a refreshing drink with strong pinch of cinnamon flavored with fresh Apple pulp. Along with this we were served with a small bowl with Adbhut Karela (deep fried bitter gourd rings). Don’t go by the name just try the newness of bitter gourd as the mild flavor is perfect for starter and especially when clubbed with Adams Apple. Next to it was tangy paneer pops served on sticks which had a unique combination of crunchy bread crumb and juicy cheese stuffing. Soya Gola kebab looked refreshing with a different look and detailing to it. Spinach stuffed soya based with tzatziki gave the taste bud a unique flavor to experiment with. Tzatziki had soothing flavor of curd mixed with grated cucumber and chopped mint. As we started talking about experimental food, Paneer Tikka Naaz Pizza came as a surprise to us. Lavishly decorated with olives and paneer, pizza was delicious enough to finish it in one go and moreover the unusual shape broke the monotony of basic pizza. As the music is food for the soul, we soak-up some more of it over a glass of fresh fruit chaat- fresh fruit pulp mixed with basic spices. Before we could call it a tasteful day, the colorful platter of chocolate coins topped with chocolate sponge, fruit, finished with white and dark chocolate causes was presented to us. A scoop of vanilla ice cream added an edge to Sinful Chocolate Papdi Chaat, forcing us to re-visit the lounge at the earliest again.

Barush is blessed in Hebrew and the very first walkin to this place was a same feeling for me.The place is beautifully curated. Loved the elegance of the place. The place has got nice varied seating options and segmentation of the same is also nicer. They have a nice dimmed lighting seating option with a creative geometrical dome shape room, also a small smoking area. The ambiance is nice and music is mild and soothing. I started with – *Addams Apple – I just loved this drink. It was refreshing in nature and the flavour of apple was appropriately blended. *Fruit Chaat – the unique combo of mango, orange and banana as juice forms blended well made this mocktail a nice try one here. *Daiquiri – the flavour was regular and classic. *Malabar Cocktail – the drink came in a nice coconut shell and it was great at taste too. *Adbhut Karela Chaat – was a delight to have and was totally new to me. Didnt expected karela can have be presented this way too. Loved it and must recommended. *Naan Pizza – the base was nice and the panner topping was appropriately done. *Khumbh ki Galouti was served with a parantha. The parantha could have been a bit more tender and the galouti was bland. The taste was average too. *Then had Gud ki potli – which was served with gulkand ice cream . The taste was nice. *Sunheri Phirni – was average at flavours and lacked a bit of sweetness too. Overall loved the ambiance. A good place to try out at Cannaught Place. Cheers !

Went there with a group of friends . Its one of the few places in Delhi that give alcohol by the bottle as well . There service is good , they have a lot of staff around . The food is also great , you will like almost everything , i really liked the spring rolls . Their drinks are also good . Must visit if you are going for heavy drinking or if you are throwing a party .

Located in CP, opposite Big Cinemas/Social, this place might be little difficult to see because the cafe name board is on 2nd floor with no entry board. The entry to Barush is via White Waters. Coming by metro? C Block, Rajiv Chowk. Coming by own? Will write a blog on tactful parking in CP😉

The drinks are reasonably priced, the food quality is great but I think it’s quite overpriced. The place is small and not very happening. Still good for chit chatting with your friends or a corporate 1-0-1 meet. Not much of a party place but still a nice joint.

People who love to drink will definitely enjoy here. As no doubt Price wise this place is great to drink and sit. Thought the flaws were there too. They don’t take reservations and you will get too many options mentioned in the menu though you will get few when u will try to order. Not in love with the food over here. But as usually people say peene ke baad khana koun khata hai. LoL

This place located at cannaught circle. A little dark for my taste, food average, but staff behaviour was rude, stuck up and likes to ruin your night.

An average place with a quiet ambience! We ordered a Chicken Tikka Naan Pizza and a Paneer Tikka Naan Pizza which tasted good but not what was expected! For desserts we ordered Sinful Chocolate Papdi Chaat which had brownies and chocolate coins. The brownies were not soft at all, and the chocolate coins were not tasty. Even the Vanilla ice cream seemed a bit old. An average place to go.
