We had high hopes for a memorable anniversary celebration at Buffet King, but unfortunately, the experience was a disaster. Despite decorating the place at our own expense, the owner named Deepak Gupta still demanded a hefty rent of ₹500, which we reluctantly paid. To our surprise, the promised buffet option turned out to be a mere illusion. The selection of food was woefully inadequate, with only 5 items to choose from: Punjabi chole, shimla mirch aloo, sahi paneer, jeera rice, 2 parathas, and raita. To make matters worse, there was no unlimited option, and extra quantities were not available. Even simple requests like water bottles were met with resistance. When we asked for additional items, we were told that the chef was unavailable, leaving us with no alternative. The service was abysmally slow, and even basic requests like a spoon took an inordinate amount of time to arrive. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the meager workload, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, our anniversary celebration at Buffet King was a huge letdown. The lack of effort and attention to detail was palpable, and we left feeling disappointed and disheartened.
