CAFÉ AMARETTO – SOUTH POINT MALL GURGAON MAY 28, 2026 Our living quarters in Gurgaon is less than a kilometer from Café Amaretto in South Point Mall Gurgaon. So, on a sultry evening (we could see the dark clouds hovering), off we went for a light dinner at Café Amaretto (a recommendation from our children that included the name of the mains). We settled into the café after some mall hopping and beer gulping; we had preplanned our food, so, it was easy ordering the LINGUINI JALAPENO with broccoli and prawns -butter and cream oozing, it was a pasta to remember! Our offer from Zomato included a portion of PannaCotta with Mango Sauce – it was delicious, specially the unsettled mango sauce took the dish to some heights. The classic TIRAMISU was a must eat – after quite some time, we had some authentic Tiramisu with the soaked in French biscuits and coffee. However, the IRISH CREAM COFFEE left much to be desired.

loved the food. the Live Tiramisu is so authentic. One of the very few places with that. The platter and Pizza were also very good. Very calm and peaceful place.

Very good food, ambience, music. Try the grilled chicken pizza here it’s amazing. Roshan was quite good and served us very well. Keep it up.

The pizza was very good but the other food items were average. Didnt like the Cesar salad at all and overall food can be improved.

We ordered four things essentially. The spaghetti in tomato sauce wasn't great for the Indian palette. The chicken stuffed breast was good to taste and crispy roasted but was overcooked and rubbery. The tiramisu which they promote on their dining tables was the worst tiramisu I've had. It has no coffee or cocoa flavor. Only the flavor of the rum. Even the zabaglione mixture from the mascarpone cheese was badly done. The cold coffee was the worst of the lot. Virtually no taste except sweetened coffee when I explicitly asked for the coffee to be strong.

I firmly believe that a customer with full belly and a thankful heart is the best thing for any food business trying to make it out there in this extremely cutthroat sector. The food is amazing but why are you guys serving kids’ portion size to hungry adults? I was so very disappointed and also felt a bit cheated. The price doesn’t justify the portion sizes at all. I understand that serving authentic Italian dishes takes a lot more than I can understand but imho if you are serving something so good then don’t let people go with half filled stomachs and unanswered questions in their heads, thats all :’(

I ordered Avocado Sourdough bread and they gave me raw bread! The bread wasn't even toasted and quite unapologetically they changed after repeated requests. It's a below average spot. Glad I don't come here again.
