I've been a customer for over 7-8 years now. whenever I can't decide where to go, I go to Delhi heights. this was the first time I went to this particular outlet. first of all, for a restaurant charging the way DH does, the seating was cramped up like an ill-designed mess. you cannot spread your arms either side because there's hardly any space between tables. Forget about having a dining experience or chatting with the person you're with without overhearing the people on the next table like they're sitting with you. Secondly, my son ordered a butter chicken biryani which came out more like some rice in butter chicken gravy and some pieces of meat but make it fit for being passed on as a slurry baby food. when I pointed that out, the server tried to convince me that's how DH serves biryanis. For someone who is quite regular, this felt like a different sort of gaslighting. Good restaurants don't do that. but he eventually took it back into the kitchen. there wasn't any bread basket served until I asked for it a couple of times. although one of the senior employees asked me if he can refill it to make up for the ignorance. The SAME slurry of the biryani was reduced to a messy lump now. The rice was all broken and chicken pieces reduced to little chews by over cooking. My teenage son was quite hungry so I didn't revolt anymore. he wanted to eat whatever was there. As someone who chose to go out on a Mom-Son dinner date, I was extremely disappointed and I am never stepping into any outlet of DH again. As a paying customer I felt humiliated that well-charging restaurant chains take customer experience for granted. I get it that it was a Sunday night, but work is work. The only person who brought any honesty at work that night was the guy who noticed the cutlery wasn't there and changed the stand for us. This experience has completely scarred my whole rapport with this chain.

Yesterday, I had what should have been a normal meal at Cafe Delhi Heights, but instead it turned into one of the most disturbing and unacceptable experiences I have ever had with food. I ordered a chicken wrap, expecting basic quality and safety. However, while eating, I was horrified to discover a sharp metal nail, approximately 2 inches long, inside the wrap. This was not only shocking but extremely dangerous. Had I not noticed it in time, it could have caused serious injury to my mouth, throat, or internal organs. This incident clearly shows a complete failure in hygiene standards, food preparation practices, and quality control. It is alarming to think that such a hazardous object could make its way into food served to customers. This is not just negligence — it is a severe breach of safety that puts customers’ health and lives at risk. I am deeply disturbed and disappointed. An establishment serving food to the public has a responsibility to ensure that every item is safe for consumption. Finding a metal nail in a meal is beyond unacceptable — it is reckless and inexcusable. Because of the seriousness of this issue, I will be filing a formal case and taking appropriate legal action. Incidents like this cannot be ignored, and accountability is necessary to prevent such dangerous situations from happening to anyone else. This experience has completely destroyed my trust, and I strongly urge immediate investigation and strict action regarding food safety standards.

There were flies in my drink, when I asked for a replacement I was told it was not a fly but mint leaves. then I actually walked to the bar and showed the manager and the bartender the fly, after which they gave me a replacement drink but not once did they apologize for the error. basic hygiene is not followed here.
