I've always found the food great at Citrus Cafe, Lemon Tree Hotel, Sohna Road & today was no different. Went for a lavish lazy lunch & every food item on our table had a glorious story to tell. Our taste buds were taken to legendary proportions. On order: Soups - our soup order was spread over three different genres. Chicken clear soup with Thai flavours. A simple no nonsense soup with juicy chunks of chicken, zucchini slices & scallions in very mild flavors of broth infused with kafir lime. Second was Pasta pesto tomato flavored soup which was Sohna Road's take on the famed Minestrone. A little tangy flavored with goodness of finely chopped veggies. Third was the Navrattan shahi chicken shorba which had royalty written all over the bowl. Made with nine Indian spices, this soup could be every food connoisseur's delight. It's just Spring Rolls - hot crispy rolls fried to perfection with zero trace of excess oil. The vegetable stuffing had a crunch which very few restaurants are able to achieve. Thai corn scallion cakes - Cutlets made of American sweetcorn kernels with spring onions & mild Thai herbs. It had an amazing texture with crunch on the outside and soft inside. It was served with ginger plum sauce which had a distinct flavor of lemongrass too. Chef's Ceaser salad (with egg & bacon rashers) - full justice was done to my all time favorite salad. Bare minimum dressing was used to give each ingredient its due. Fresh iceberg tossed with shaved parmesan, black olives, boiled egg quarters, bacon rashers fried in their own fat. The salad plate was an epitome of perfection with warm garlic bread triangles on the side. Breaded Fish & Chips - The second best thing that Britishers gave to the world after cricket. The fish held firm with extra crunchy crust & a soft n tender flesh. Served with tartare, a small helping of salad & crispy salted fries on the side. Aglio Olio Peperoncino - Spaghetti cooked al denté tossed in a top quality aromatic olive oil mixed with garlic, chili flakes, olives, parsley & parmesan. On the side were garlic bread, a lovely mix of Italian herbs, chili flakes & a generous bowl of the expensive parmesan. Hunan Hot Fish - There was a confusion while ordering and the server brought the curry version instead of the dry one we intended to order. Such was the look & the texture that we never wanted to return the dish. Cotton soft sliced fish in a smooth Chinese gravy. It was evident that the flour slurry had been sparingly used, just the way i like it. Giving warm company to the fish were broccoli, babycorn, bell peppers, Chinese cabbage & scallions. Desserts - À total of four desserts were ordered to satisfy the sweet cravings in the form of Beetroot halwa, ras malai, gulab jamun & chocolate overloaded brownie. I became a fan of beetroot halwa only after eating at this very restaurant à few months ago. Such is the creamy texture of this slow cooked wonder. The gulab jamun & ras malai with all due respect could be the heroes on another day but for the brilliance of beetroot halwa and the brownie which became a topic of fond discussion for over 20 minutes till we ordered coffee. The chocolate overloaded brownie was actually not overloaded which made us love it more. The outside crust was so well done that I almost invented a new name to describe such texture "al burnté". The smoky crust and the warm & soft brownie made a perfect tag team with the creamy vanilla ice cream topped with the in-house chocolate sauce.

We are currently residing at the Lemon Tree Hotel and i have to say that the citrus cafe, apart from serving good food, has the friendliest, helpful and most respectful staff we have come across among all our travels. They make you feel at home right away. Special cheers to Versha who is so sweet and kind. Citrus cafe is really worth the detour and is a must visit place if you are in the area. You will really love the food and the people.

Situated on the outskirts of the gurugram and its a perfect jumping spot for traveler Delhi NCR people. This place is best for thier food, ambience is just amazing staff is very cooperative and humble its a most recommemded place. Have tried brekafast and lunch both and trust me food is completely mouth watering .

Excellent place. Staff is so courteous. In Delhi, guess you can't go wrong with paneer, and chicken. The pricing is also quite reasonable. We had dahi kabab, paneer tikka, chicken tikka, butter chicken. All preparation was quite good. Loved the experience. Gulab jamun was good.

Groupon offers a Breakfast voucher for just 299 bucks which seemed quite a catch when we bought it. But we were in for much more when we reached there. The spread though is not as lavish as a Crown Plaza or a Hilton. But then its half the price than what these guys are charging and the spread here in Citrus definitely did more than required justice to the price.You have certain fixed items like Paratha, two types if idlis along with Uthpams and Dosas on order. Then we had baked beans and sandwiches.Chicken sandwiches were amazing and I have not seen them being served at other places. You can have eggs to order as well. There are fresh fruits, cold cuts, yoghurts, curd and many types of juices. Pancakes are also available on order.Bottom line is - it is amazing at this price.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff here, the only issue seems to be getting to this location. Located away from sohna road, more into Sohna, it is not an easy task getting here! Once you are here though, the Citrus Cafe is amazing ! Try the pancakes for sure, it won’t go in vain! The breakfast menu can be enhanced or upgraded a bit by adding some dessert which was missing, but overall had a great breakfast here. Thanks for a great start to the day !

The ambiance of this hotel is very pleasant and composed. You will never feel annoying in your rooms.  When I came for breakfast there was a huge buffet aligned. I had enjoyed poha ,omlete and cornflakes .specially Service of rohit, sheela, deepa,anand,gaurav,syyed ali, chef manoj and chef virendra was fantastic and worth experiencing once.

As of now, the only good place to eat beyond Badshahpur on Sohna Road. Citrus is the coffee shop in most Lemon Tree hotels. The place is yet to pick up as an eatery and mostly only depends on the in-house guests. But the food was much better than expected. The nazuk machhli, ceaser salad & mutton gujiya kebabs were excellent.

Stayed here from April 12 to April 13, 2019. This is an excellent property located on Sohna Road. The location is very inconvenient, sort of cut off from the main city, and away from the airport too. But if you have reasons to be here, then there couldn't be any better option than this. The suite room was lavish, and you cannot really ask for anything more. Large rooms, one LCD TV in each room, also one Aqua area in each too. The beds were comfortable, and you had four varieties of pillows to choose from. Great sleep quality. There was a bathtub in the bathroom AND a separate enclosed bathroom. Pressure powered showers. Basic frills on toiletries. Clean and fresh linen. Great panoramic view from the large glass panes. The AC and the Wifi worked nicely. Adequate charging points, one each on either side of the bed. A large, exclusive swimming pool for the in-house guests. Proper arrangement of lockers, towels, changing rooms and shower rooms. Great swimming experience. The F and B experience was surprisingly less than satisfactory as compared to the rest of the stay. My dreams of a lavish spread were dashed when I realized that there was only one starter each in the veg and the non-veg section in the dinner buffet. (How come??? Unheard of in a five-star hotel). The other items came across as less than adequate too. The fish they serve is only the pathetically cheap Basa. The dairy is sourced from outside, they serve a synthetically tasting packaged curd. The bakery items are outsourced too. The Gulab jamun seemed only flour, sans any milky mawa. The semolina cake was texture-less. The rest of the items included Pumpkin carrot soup and Chicken manchow soup (fair), Yellow dal (awesome), kaju pulav (great), plain rice, lauki aloo gobhi, paneer tawa masala, burnt garlic noodles, exotic veg, pasta, dum ka murgh. Blueberry pannacotta. It came as a tad surprising when the F and B Manager (Anupam Kumar) could not remember the full name of his own head chef - Anil Rathodi. I would have also loved to speak to the GM, Mr Yatendra Singh, but that was unfortunately not to be.

Food was average at best and some dishes were infact not good to taste at all. Also, it took extremely long to bring basic dishes like sandwiches (which were also lacking in salt).
