I love Coastal Reef for its non vegetarian South Indian food, since it is not easy to come by otherwise. I love how great the quality and taste of the food is here. The prawn Malabar stew and Malvani fish fry are a must try. Even after getting it delivered home, the fish retained its crunch and texture, and was so incredibly succulent. The Malabar parotta and appam are also very good. Highly recommend.

What a delectable piece of delicious art! I have never tried this particular recipe and it was so good that I might be ordering again and again from here now. The flavours were bursting in my mouth the moment I put the first piece. The dish I ordered was paneer ghee roast, and I highly recommend it. 10/10. Authentic south indian. Loved it.

The food is too delicious! My personal favorite and ultimate comfort order is definitely the chicken ghee roast — rich, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. Its a must must tryyyy😍🤌🏻

They tried to stick a different preparation to me thinking I wouldn't know!! I politely explained that what they served was vastly different, but they insisted it was authentic. I'm from Mangalore and know a ghee roast, they served me a Kerala roast

The food is below average! Chettinad chicken was full of strong masalas which failed to give chicken the right taste. Chettinad mutton had undercooked mutton pieces. Malabar parantha was chewy. With strong competitors around, the restaurant needs to put in a lot more effort to sustain in the longer run, else old customers like me would seek elsewhere. For my family, it's a Big No now!

the service was very poor, food was not good, there were rats and cockroaches roaming on the wall , we ordered prawn ghee roast and they gave us prawn masala, onion uttapam was bad coconut chutney was watery with uttapam they did not serve sambar. It was pathetic they should close it, people who are ordering through Zomato do not know how unhygienic that place is.

With a distant taste of stale fish curry, smelly ambiance and under dim lights, I’m jotting down my experience. Today my hard earned 1,700 rupees fell down the dark abyss of Coastal Reef where I could only hear the echo of my excruciating cry of dissatisfaction. An epitome of an utmost incorrigible taste and adobe.

This chain should be sealed! Both their restaurants are cockroach infested - from menu, to plates, to general surrounding. It's as if they're bring bred on purpose. Super unhygenic, try only if you have a death wish.
