DON’T VISIT ! Visited Cuisaro, Civil Lines recently and had one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve seen in a long time. I completely understand that restaurants can have dress codes. If slippers are not allowed, that’s their policy and customers can respect it. The real issue was the attitude and behaviour of the staff. The receptionist was unnecessarily rude and dismissive from the very beginning. Instead of politely explaining the policy, all she said was, “Slippers aren’t allowed anywhere,” in an arrogant tone, as if basic courtesy towards customers doesn’t matter. A good restaurant is judged not only by food or ambience, but by how they treat people. Making customers feel insulted and unwelcome over footwear — especially during a casual evening outing — reflects extremely poor management and zero professionalism. There are far better places in Delhi where staff know how to speak respectfully, even while enforcing rules. What made this even worse was that two days later, I received a call from the restaurant apologising and saying that slippers are actually allowed and that it was never their policy in the first place. So not only was the staff rude and disrespectful, they apparently aren’t even aware of their own restaurant policies. Imagine humiliating customers over rules that don’t even exist. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. I repeat, don’t visit Guys!
