Though i am an Indian and love desi food with extra spices and all (which is totally opposite to japanese food), but my kids be watching anime and all those japanese cartoons. One day i was also watching those cartoons with them, and thought of trying japanese food, the nearest authentic japanese restraunt from my house was Daikichi and I thought of going there. They first greet you In a very special way, which no indian restraunt does, and the food was very amazing i was quite fascinated with the ambience. I had tried veg sushi and chicken fried rice and some chilli tofu, the food had very less spices and was fresh in all ways not rotten food no nothing. Would be looking to come anytime sooner for sure

Been here since 2016. The food at that time was not as good it is now, they have changed their staff which was immediately needed and now they serve their food with great authenticity and great flavour. Even the restraunt owner now knows me

I have lived in all major metros in india. I have been to Japan and lived in NYC for two years. This is excellent ramen and Japanese food. Hands down one of the best out there. 5/5. Don’t know what the low rating is about

Very fresh preparation.Daikichi caters personally with attention to individual tastes& requirement. Excellent , piquant place. They cater to Vegetarians Seafood eaters as well as Non vegetarians.

An authentic japanese cuisine restaurant. The ambience is so much like Japan. With sliding doors, server greeting you in japanese, the hanging lights. Shelves with japanese books.  The menu had all the dishes written in japanese with english explanation. Well few items were familiar ones like ramen, soba noodles, shashmi, rest were little complicated to understand, since it was the first time dining in an authentic one.  We had ordered an appetizer combo which had prawn, chicken, pork, and few veg items. We thought it would be battered fried with tempura. But i felt like it was battered with bread crumbs. So it was not that great so would probably rate 3 out of 5. We ordered for Salmon Sushi which felt like a bliss 5 star for it. We then ordered for Barbequed pork rice bowl which was also good 4 out of 5.  Well overall the food was good. Since their head Chef was from Japan itself. The place is at a little seculded area with one night pub and few Spa centres. The staff are very friendly and courteous.

It's an authentic Japanese restaurant with great service and good food. It's not the best in town but is pocket friendly and definitely not disappointing. We ordered Mix Fry platter which was a generous, satisfying serving of fish, prawn, croquette, rice and broth. We had Salmon sushi 🍣 which wasn't the greatest. We also ordered pork and prawn skewers which were super good. The pork was well cooked and served hot! They costed under 100rs, which is a steal for the flavor it delivered. Daikichi is frequented by Japanese expats, meaning you probably won't see many locals here. We could feel it's a spot where they come, and come often, for beer and conversation. The restaurant's setting is cozy and comfortable. It's a place to take your friends not your date.

This is Japanese for Japanese restaurant so if you are after the real stuff you got it. I was the only non Japanese... There is tuna and sashimi as well as buckwheat noodles...

Good food with good ambiance. Very courteous staff. Price is okay. My family enjoyed the food most. I also liked it. Recommend.

We ordered a ramen bowl, While the portion size was decent the price was overly expensive and not worth it. One can't simply price items so high just because it's Japanese cuisine and not widely available in India.

The stewardess "Ms Jojo" was absolutely arrogant and rude in her demeanor! Very horrific customer service experience!!
