A good old favourite and a very underrated joint. Good food, even if most of it is Indian Chinese in style, but then so is most Chinese food in India, and fast efficient service. It has a bunch of old staples that are quite good, like Yeefu stews and some of the specials. A good option for a quick meal or even a more relaxed one. If they delivered to nearby areas through Zomato I think it would help them even more.

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years now and it is always a delight coming back here. Our favorites are: Chilli chicken, chicken fried rice, and chicken sweet corn soup.

Daitchi restaurant, in south ex main market. It has been here since more than 3 decades now. I have costed this place for dinner few weeks back and the review for the same is below: Location: It is located in the main South ex market, so parking is not an issue the place has ample paid parking. Ambiance: It is an old school restaurant the ambiance is decent nothing special but comfortable and clean. Service: The staff is polite and fast, they have suggestions and most of them are quite good. Drinks: The place does not have liquor so only soft drinks are available. Food: For soup we had Hot & Sour chicken which was nice (we ordered one by two the quantity was good), for starters we had Drums of heaven: the same was tasty, juicy chicken drumsticks which were nicely made. For main course we had shredded chicken five spice with Szechwan fried rice this was a very good pick the chicken is not a gravy one but was good with the rice. They also serve hot garlic sauce with the drumsticks. Cost: The cost for our meal was 2041INR including service charge and taxes which is not so bad as we were three people. Overall the food and service is nice, the place has been serving food since 3 decades and one should give it a try if In the area. Though I would have preferred is they had beer in the menu but it is a family restaurant so not serving the same.

A Delhi institution that has stood the test of time amid the buzzing SouthEx shopping scene. And to Daitchi's credit, well deserved! Easy fix Chinese suiting the Desi palate is what defines the place - great fried rice, the chinese chopsuey and daitchi special chicken were excellent. The wantons were on the oilier side but good for the price. Keep the staff informed for customizations and spice levels and they will be glad to help!

To the owner who is supposedly watching over the CCTV first rule of business be courteous with staff your staff shouldn’t be afraid of you maintain a balance. The waiter and manger refused to merge tables even thought at 9’o clock in the evening there is 1 other table than us and they refused to merge tables with the reason the restaurant has a table for 4 even though the table is quite small main reasons we have to answer to our owner we even said we’ll leave the table if the restaurant reaches full capacity. Hats off to the Ghamand of the restaurant love the spirit 2 tables on a Sunday evening and the attitude like a busy road side vendor who has no time to bother for customer service

My last visit here made me pledge that I am never coming back again. The food was pathetic. Had ordered manchow soup , with less spice ,it turned out to be completely bland. The special chowmein with gravy was so oily that oil dripped from every strand of the noodle. The staff is also very arrogant and rude . On complaining about the dish , they were not apologetic and didn't offer to redo it. Rather, they started giving me cooking lessons.

very poor service. Staff is rude. Specially bad experience with staff named Pravin who was rude in taking the order. I finally had to cancel the order because of his rudeness. when I spoke yo him on call - he was unapologetic and cut my call. never go to Daitchii again if service matters. They don't know how yo treat customers. it's sad - They keep such staff and spoil the name of an old restaurant.

Food quality has gone down majorly. Same old lay out, same old waiters and much worse food and they don’t even care. When I tried to tell them that food was bad, the waiter just turned and walked off while I was speaking. Extremely rude behaviour. It used to be a favourite joint once upon a time but never coming back again

Most horrible chinese food ever eaten any where in the world. Have a look at attached photo of food which contains 2 different dishes which are same in taste ie tasteless. I feel even a road side eatery will provide better food than this restaurant food. Waste of money n time

The food is below standard and the restaurant manager is arrogant to the core. Doesn’t respect his customers.
