I recently visited this place with my family, and from the moment we entered, we were truly impressed with the warm welcome we received. The hospitality was beyond expectations, and we felt very happy and welcome throughout our dinner. For dinner, we started with the tomato basil soup, which was so refreshing and a great way to begin our meal. We ordered Kadai Paneer, Yellow Dal, and Kofta, and everything was truly amazing. We had a special request for less salt and spices in our dishes, and the staff took great care to ensure everything was perfect for us. Dhilli (Oberoi) lived up to its reputation as one of the finest restaurants in the city, and possibly the country. The experience was worth every penny because of the exceptional hospitality and quality of food. Mr. Anand, the manager, was a wonderful person to talk to. He personally took our feedback and made us feel very valued. Overall, it is a must-visit place for anyone in Delhi or anyone planning to visit Delhi. If you want to enjoy authentic Indian traditional food with top-notch quality and hospitality, this is a place to go.

We had an amazing sunday lunch experience at Dhilli, The Oberoi, New Delhi. The ambiance was sophisticated and the service was truly top-notch. We tried the Jama Masjid Trio, Badami Gosht, Zafrani Murg Anda Biryani, Dhaba Chicken Kulcha, Garlic Coriander Naan, and Dal Maharani—every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. They surprised us with complimentary papad, a refreshing mango punch, and a delicious chocolate cake for dessert. The attention to detail and warmth in service made it a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking refined Indian cuisine in Delhi.

We visited this place for dinner with my family after making a prior booking, which we had confirmed via email. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the staff at the reception seemed unaware of our reservation, which caused some confusion. The interaction, especially with Ms. Anuradha, made us feel more like uninvited guests rather than valued patrons. The situation was thankfully handled well by Mr. Himanshu, who sincerely apologised and ensured we were accommodated — his warm approach was truly appreciated. As for the food, most dishes were enjoyable, but the chicken tikka was undercooked and lacked the classic Delhi-style tandoori flavour we were expecting. Overall, while the dining experience had some positives, it was rather average due to the initial reception and inconsistency in food quality.

The food was extremely average. Nothing was exceptional. How can a restaurant not make good dal makhni? The food was underwhelming to say the least! The biryani was dry and tasteless.. the drinks were average.., service was good.. but overall a Sub par experience…

I went here with a group of colleagues and we got the set menu. I have never been wowed by the food at Oberoi but this experience was a definite low. the menu is set to fusion Indian which has been done to death. They definitely need to come with a better menu idea. the first course was some version of chaat which was ok. the second course was paneer which was rubbery and over cooked, some cutlet thrown in with home made rajma and a version of golgappa best not served. The main course was breads and dal makhani and a curry with nut kofta. This was average at best. The dessert was the worst course with ice cream and a small cookie that tasted raw or undercooked. I asked to change it to a chocolate dessert which was better but not great. This restaurant is a waste of money and doesn't deserve the price it is charging. Service was impeccable, as always
