I've been meaning to come here from the past 1 year to this place and finally did. The food overall is excellent. The variety of offerings in menu is their strong point. Let's go the food i ordered: 1. Pineapple Rasam 5/5 Pineapple taste with every sip of rasam. Their was a nice tangy taste (probably tamarind) that went really nice with the pineapple. It's a must try. Recommended. 2. Corn fritters 2.5/5 To be honest, it was lack lustre. Nothing to write home about. You can avoid this one. 3. Veg kothu porota 4/5 If you like kothu porota in general, you'll love it. Taste is excellent. Definitely one time try. 4. Kerala Chicken Cutlets 2.5/5 Too peppery. It overpowered the other flavours. The ketchup as condiment food not go well. The coconut and tomato chutney food go surpringly well with the Cutlets. I'll say avoid this dish. 5. Mutton Pepper fry 5/5 After eating the above, one would expect this one to be same but this one was so well balanced even my vegetarian wife enjoyed the masala with Malabar porota. The porota was super flaky not doughy at all. The combo was great. Highly recommended! 6. Filter coffee ice cream 5/5 Excellent dessert to end the meal with. The flavour is just right... Just enough filter coffee flavour and just the right amount of sweetness. I also noticed every table ordered this! Absolutely recommended! Even though there were two dishes that were sub par, overall the experience was great. I am definitely coming here again to try their other offerings.

I had been a fan of the Dakshin Canteen ( lajpat nagar). when I used to stay in Dwarka Delhi. Which means travelling almost 30 kms on a weekend for authentic flavors. I was so glad to hear that they have opened in Gurgaon and made it a point to visit. As usual the food was authentic and refreshing. I like their kerala Murton cutlet and mutton pepper fry with dose. My most favourite tough is the filter coffee soft serve. Will be visiting again soon

This place has opened near my home as well in Amar Colony, I couldn’t find them on Zomato, so writing a review here. Their food is exceptional good the pineapple rasam is my favourite the go hi Manchurian and appam is a must try. Their kothu parotta is good but a bit expensive - cheese chilli paniyaram and their srilankan Thali are must haves again …

The only thing that bothered us that they waste huge amounts of paper by using paper table mats that are not recyclable. A brand that is as new as 2024 should have had sustainable options to this.

Awful experience. Brought my father here for fathers day lunch. It was quite awful from the start when the server couldn’t guide us on what to order and what quantities. The starters were fine— but the entrees were a distastee. Chettinad fish was bland, without any flavor — total white people food (actually thats not even fair because ive had delicious herb spiced Mediterranean fish ). The crab was served wjtjout providing aprons or hand wipes (though the dish itself was yum). The moms veggie dish arrived after the meat eaters had already finished their entree. The payasam tres leches was probably and even bigger disappointment because the name is misleading - more like ras malai tres leches. We were so excited go eat here as southern indian food lovers, but the food and service left us soooo disappointed . :(

They are fooling people in the name of south indian food. Do not go to this place. Their dishes were just not south indian and the taste was very very bad. Had a terrible experience. They bombard you with ads on insta and nothing but that. There was no chef present there, there was no manager present, and only a few staff members who were putting together the dishes. One person Om sitting at the counter was sooo sarcastic when i told him the food was bad. Tooo disappointed and really upsetting experience.

We ordered 5 dishes and they all were so mid- v v average at best But most importantly, both me and my friends came back with an upset stomach. Never have i experienced this in any restaurant in gurgaon but here i am, writing this review with extreme stomach ache. Will never recommend.
